Intercity Hotel Hotels in Hamburg

You can’t beat the location for public transport convenience: Barmbek subway and S-Bahn as well as bus hub is directly beside the Intercity Hotel and its just four stops from Hamburg Airport. I liked the breakfast buffet very much, as it’s a typical German style breakfast: müsli and cereal choices as well as fresh vegetables and fruit and different kinds of grain bread, eggs, pancakes… Be aware that the rooms are very clean upon arrival however; you will need to order cleaning DURING your stay a day in advance. It’s free, of course, but as part of their environmentally conscious program they provide cleaning on demand during stays only. For me, that is a BIG PLUS as I try to travel green.

Only few meters from Hamburg Hauptbanhof and within walking distance to the city center. Very clean and modern property but lack of amenities in the bathroom and in room cleaning services.

Never comment, but this one has to say. . . 1. The hotel provides a hot water bottle, which costs 6 euros/day, and has a long experience. 2. The bathroom and wash basin can't be blocked at the same time. Please imagine the scene of the dirty water reflux. . . Although it was cleaned up after notifying the hotel, why not maintain it early? 3. Although the location is convenient, the environmental facilities in the hotel room are simple and the room size is small. I think it is not worth the price. . . .
