2-Star Hotels in Hamburg

The location is good for those who stay only a few nights. There is no air conditioning, and during summer it can be hot, so we had to open the window, which I don't mind. However, it was very loud at night. Because the hostel is huge and has a lot of rooms, the whole night was filled with the sounds of people knocking next doors, traffic, and general noise.

There must of been a field trip or sporting competition in town because there were no less than 200 teenagers in this hostel! Haha, the room was fine, the bed was hard, the shower was hot, and the view (5th floor) was the other bunk bed rooms and some kind of meeting point for the pigeons. My window also faced the courtyard so it was loud outside my window well into the evening. All in all, it was a room that served its purpose, a place to lay my head.

Good location and nice environment

The hotel is not far from the airport. You can walk to the airport in 20 minutes with your suitcase in tow; so it's doable if there are no buses running at night. Otherwise, the ”Röntgenstraße” bus stop is less than 5 minutes from the hotel. Of course, the employee at the reception, which is open 24/7, will also order a taxi. B&B hotels always have the same facilities and the rooms are standardized. So you know what to expect. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Bar and breakfast room on the ground floor. Had a room facing away from the street; therefore particularly quiet. Everything was great. The bathroom was clean and everything worked. Air conditioning available for cooling or heating.

Unlike other reviews, it's not good enough—Super single size bed, not clean sheet, not fluent English speaking and less trained staff.

Simple hostel-like Hotel for young budget travelers who don't care too much about space. The single rooms are very small (and so well ventilated) but definitely okay for a stay of a few days, especially considering its central location. The staff was super friendly and very readily available throughout my stay!

The prizeotel was very clean and suited perfectly my needs for a short stay. The staff was very welcoming and everything was so clean inside the room ! I recommmend 100%

A really average hotel, nothing much to say. The wall is a bit thin i can even hear the snores from the next room, but it’s actually ok. Not so near to the metro, but jus a 10 min walk with luggage. The bed was fine. Staff is with ok attitude.
