Picked up from the airport, very nice to be so unburdened. We were welcomed with a delicious fruit juice and a nice breakfast, nothing is missing. Within a few minutes you are on a beautiful beach, very impressive! In the evening we enjoyed a night walk accompanied by a guide from the turtle watch. An absolute must! On request you can take the tuk-tuk to another beach bar near Tangalle or a guesthouse / hotel with a swimming pool on the beach where you can stay for a day. A wonderful place with a pleasant quiet indoor garden, a pleasant food and drink (adviser: the tropical milkshake) and friendly staff that arranged a beautiful safari for us. The large pool is separately located in a small paradise on the other side of the road (less than half a minute walk). Rooms are fine and air-conditioned. Tip: choose safari in Yala Block 5. We were one of only seven jeeps that day, and saw everything we wanted. Details, but the room can just be dressed a little more beautiful and smarter: table next to bed would be fine, the lamps are rough but with the lucks closed the windowless room is very dark.

Perfect temperature even in the summer. Good escape from the Dubai heat. Compliments to all staff for making us feel really welcome. Unfortunately the days we stayed was busy days but the beach view was still spectacular. I wish if the hotel can accommodate only the in house guest around the resort as it was full with the walking people and outdoor parties and it’s disturbing for the calm and relaxation environment. I tried pan fried pork dish near to the pool bar, it was delicious. While serving food was cold, might because of wind. Stunning property with nice architecture.

This is one of the most beautiful resorts in an amazing secluded nature we have ever experienced in Sri Lanka. Jannith and Nalin are doing a great job with their entire team. Always friendly, eager on making the great stay even a bit greater, taking care of excursions, individual wishes. We had a beachfront room overlooking the ocean, very clean, good beds. The restaurant is serving great Sri Lanka and Western food. The atmosphere is friendly, calm, familiar. The entire resort is very neat and well kept.

We recently stayed at the hotel for a family getaway, and our experience was a mix of positives and negatives. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, which set a friendly tone for our stay. However, while our room was tidy, it unfortunately did not meet our cleanliness expectations. We were surprised to find that there were no telephones in the room, which made communication with the front desk a bit inconvenient. One significant issue we encountered was the lack of hot water. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, we were informed that the solar system was not functioning properly on rainy days. This was disappointing, as we were unable to enjoy comfortable showers during our stay. The restaurant left something to be desired, too. While the dinner was quite enjoyable, both breakfast and lunch did not meet our expectations, and we noticed that the dining area could have been cleaner. Overall, the maintenance of the facilities seemed to be lacking. On a brighter note, the pool area was well-maintained and provided a pleasant experience for the whole family. We appreciated the friendly demeanor of the staff throughout our stay. Additionally, the resort's easy access from Hambanthota was a definite plus. Can not recommend to another for a stay after spending that much money.
