I enjoyed my Stay..Wonderful pool area

Before I booked the hotel I called to the hotel reception asked them I going to book the hotel for 25dec 2024 and I will be reaching 25dec midnight around 12:30am and on call they said "we will try to accommodate you if the room is available" but when I reached there, the front desk two indian one boy and one girl was not helping me to accommodate and asked me to come after 11:00am in morning or else pay the whole price again. I slept inside my car the problem is they could have atlest Said to wait in reception waiting area, but It looks like they wanted me to leave hotel. They were rude. But the person in the morning was very good and accommodating, I must appreciate the front desk guy who was there in the 25dec morning 11:00. The hotel booking details said you have toothbrush included but there wa no toothbrush, called the reception but they didn't send to the room. I am not returning back to this hotel, and I won't suggest my friends to book your hotel again. I am want my refund or another booking voucher for the trouble I faced.

Nice hotel with a view and good location for downtown. Parking and baby cribs are available.

Overall it was a great hotel experience! Only problem is the long wait for the elevator… 😁

Hotel is located close to everything, but is in an area under constriction for the last 3 years. Hotel is clean, but dated. No fans it the washroom, so a hot shower leaves everything damp. Premium price for average rooms. 3rd stay there, likely the last.

Excellent bed and clean fragrance free room.

The bar closed before 10pm and the staff barely spoke to me upon check in. They didn’t tell me how to use the elevator or to access my room which was pitch black when I entered. The card reader you insert your room pass into is finicky and doesn’t always work, takes multiple tries to get in. The room was alright, bed comfy but the A/C unit was loud.

Not at all bad

Only 2-3 front desk staff were respectful, smiling and courteous. The rest were either rude or arrogant, and didn’t seem to enjoy giving a good customer experience. Indoor parking is extremely expensive, but they don’t tell you that the outside parking is permitted for free (they have signs of towing but they do not seem to enforce it as cars are parked there all the time - so if you find a spot, park for free instead of paying 26$+ per day). Room cleaning is requested and not completed automatically. Amenities seem well-balanced. Good enough sized gym and pool is very good and clean. Room furniture is old and building itself is old. Not entirely sure the owners want to renovate anytime soon, but it definitely needs a refresher. Insulation in rooms is awful - lots of noise from outside. I have been in other hotels in capitals and downtowns, and never have I had an issue with outside noise. Halifax is quite the vibrant city so keep that in mind if you wish to stay at this hotel.

Was great stay!

I asked the front desk about some direction bell and they didn’t seem to be clear or helpful/ not friendly. Also they told me that they will give me a call back but never did.

I loved the location and coziness. I felt like the housekeeping schedule was a bit odd and the staff could have been more sure about things. Other than that. Great hotel!
