Pension Chauchau

A very good family hotel (feels like it's run by a family), the room is clean, tidy and warm, the staff is very enthusiastic and patient, the breakfast and dinner are delicious, dinner is booked extra, 2800 yen per person, the whole French set meal, very pleasantly surprised, although the room does not have a toilet but it does not feel inconvenient, the shower room has a circulating hot water bathtub. It is a small, homey, warm pension. The accommodation is lovely. The bathroom is shared, but the heater in the hallway is on all night. Breakfast is farmhouse style, simple and clean. There is a lot of bread to choose from.

The owner was a lovely man with a smile. The place was clean and the service was excellent. I only had breakfast, but the homemade bread was delicious and it was a very satisfying stay.

It's about a 20-minute walk from the train station and the pension. The nearby pensions are so pretty. The rooms are surprisingly small. And women might feel a little uncomfortable in terms of facilities. There are separate bathhouses for men and women, but they are open, so about 4 people can fit. And there are 2 bathrooms on each floor, so if there are a lot of people in the pension, it might be inconvenient to wash up and use the bathroom. There are only pensions around, so you have to go quite far to use a convenience store. I think it took me an hour round trip. ㅠㅠ The best score here is the food. Italian food that you can only eat here. It comes out as a course meal, and it's really luxurious and full of the chef's sincerity. You should definitely try the food here!! It's really the best of the best ~👍👍 The distance to Hakuba Ski Resort is about a 20-minute uphill walk. It's hard to go up, but if there's a lot of snow on the way down, you can ride a snowboard down. ^^ A shuttle bus runs around. If you time it right, It's only 5-10 minutes away You can get on if you go out The facilities aren't very comfortable But it's not that inconvenient I'm leaving with good memories because of the family-like atmosphere Thank you
