Service from the staff is excellent. As the period we go is a cold season, there is no aircon running in the hotel. They provided us with a standing fan upon our request. Hotel is only 2mins walk away from Gora station!

2 mins from Gora station. Highly recommended for short stay & with low expectations of Onsen. Because the hotel is very close to the train tracks, wear ear buds to reduce the noise when sleeping. No complimentary water bottles & snacks provided.

Great location. Just right in front of the Gora station and bus stops are just right outside the hotel. Very convenient location to every parts of hakone. The furnishing in the room and hotel seem old but cleanliness wise is acceptable though not fantastic in Japanese standard. We purchased the dinner as there are no restaurants open past 8pm except restaurant in hotels. JPY3800 per pax is considered expensive as the quality of food is just so so but some alcohol drinks are provided. May be that’s the reason for this price

We stayed here for a 3-day, 2-night trip. This was our first time here, but it was very good value for money and we had a comfortable stay. You can enjoy the hot springs from morning until night, so you can enjoy them whenever you like! The meals were buffet style, so both adults and children could enjoy as much as they liked of what they liked. The side dishes seemed to be for commercial use, but compared to the surrounding inns, it was a great deal in terms of price, so I thought it was totally worth it. There was a soft serve ice cream machine and we could have as many refills as we wanted, which the kids were thrilled with. The rooms were divided into smoking and non-smoking, so we had a comfortable stay. I'd like to stay here again!

The food was buffet style and included all-you-can-drink, which was great. There was also an open-air bath, so you could relax and enjoy yourself. The atmosphere was calming, retro, and antique, which was lovely.

I made a reservation a few days in advance, but the system didn't allow me to make a reservation for children, so I made a reservation for the number of adults, but when I checked, I was able to rebook for elementary school students with a detailed explanation. Even though we were traveling with a large group and it was a tight schedule, the staff were very polite and we had a very meaningful time in a calm atmosphere. One thing to note is that it's a good idea to check the dinner time, such as what time you can enter and what time you can enter. (I wonder if it changes from time to time?) When I was there, there were two sessions, and I could choose the time, but there was a designated check-in time. Regarding the private bath. When I made my reservation, it was before check-in, but I was told that they accept reservations by phone from 8am on the day, so I recommend checking this as well.

Opposite the station, very convenient, the room is OK, but the breakfast and dinner are nearly doubled compared to last year.

The location is good. Dinner is a buffet. Reservation is required. Various drinks and coffee are included. The dishes are average and suitable for wine lovers.

I chose the hotel based on the traffic location. It is just opposite the Gora Station, and you can get there by crossing the railway. It is also suitable for staying here if you want to go to Mount Fuji, because the bus to Gotemba passes by here. Hotels in Hakone seem to have more family rooms, and those with hot springs are too expensive and may not be suitable for single people. This hotel is more suitable for single people, and you can book a private hot spring plus dinner. Except for the old facilities and the smell of aging facilities in the room, everything else is satisfactory.
