I booked this B&B online. It’s pretty good. It’s about 5 kilometers away from Chaka Salt Lake. Free parking is available outside the B&B. Breakfast (simple meal) is included. The boss is very hygienic. The room is very clean and there is a projector for watching movies. , let’s talk about the shortcomings: the B&B is in a village. Since the entire Chaka Village is full of B&Bs, it took me a few rounds to find Qingqing Family Hotel. It is best to call the boss before entering the village. There is also no place to eat in B&B Wai. You have to go out of the village (about 20 minutes) to the main street to find a place to eat, so this is for everyone's reference. Think carefully before placing an order.

This is one of the better quality options in Golmud (there aren’t many). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment.
