Great location right at the famous Qilou Old Street main tourist attraction spot, saved time and transportation tour in the area, and walking distance to famous food stalls. Front desk was very helpful to carry the large and hand carry luggages up to my room located at second floor. Bed is big, clean and comfortable. Room decorated with unique antique style. With the room price is reasonable especially located right inside the main tourist spot. Worth to stay and experience the heritage old buildings atmosphere. Need to improve the maintenance and cleanliness of the surrounding especially the bathroom area due to humidity and mold spots, perhaps change the old carpets and install the lift or slopes so that easier for travelers to carry the luggage up to the room. Understand it’s costly for the maintenance of the heritage old buildings. Overall strongly recommended for tourists to experience the stay👍🌴

A few years ago, I visited Haikou with friends. My friend booked this hotel for our two-night stay before we headed to Sanya, and I distinctly remember having a wonderfully positive experience. That's why this year, when planning a family trip, I confidently chose The Langham Haikou again. My family was also incredibly satisfied with the hotel choice for this trip; both the front desk staff and the restaurant service received high praise from them. We were especially delighted with our room. It offered a breathtaking panoramic view, allowing us to lie in bed and soak in the beautiful sights of Century Bridge, the expansive ocean, and Wanlu Park. The beauty and comfort were truly indescribable. What's more, the price was quite reasonable. Haha, we're extremely satisfied! I highly recommend everyone to visit and experience it for yourselves.

The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, and comfortable, refreshingly free of the damp, musty smell often found in traditional business hotels in Hainan – a definite plus! What's more, I booked a hotel apartment room this time, and both its spaciousness and the comprehensive amenities provided were a pleasant surprise. Service: The service truly lived up to Hilton's high standards. The staff were attentive, thorough, and incredibly thoughtful. Finally, for the areas that could be improved: Given that the hotel was built in 2016, I think the entertainment facilities, among other things, are due for an upgrade. Specifically, the in-room audio-visual equipment didn't support screen mirroring, preventing me from watching my preferred content. It also felt outdated and had some screen distortion. Additionally, the hairdryer wasn't very powerful. Regarding the breakfast buffet, I personally felt that its variety and taste didn't quite measure up to what I've experienced at similarly-rated Hilton hotels inland. I hope the hotel can make improvements in this area to further enhance the guest experience.

Very clean hotel, good location right behind there’s a big mall. Friendly staff, washing machines free to use. Gym facilities only 2 cardio. Overall worth the price.

This is hands down one of the most comfortable hotels I've ever stayed in, a definite five-star recommendation! Right as I arrived, staff members were quick to offer help with my luggage, and their service was exceptionally thoughtful. Check-in was super efficient, and the front desk even thoughtfully upgraded my room, mentioning it was a little surprise for a loyal customer. I instantly felt so touched. The room amenities were brand new, and the attention to detail was exceptional – USB charging ports by the bed, a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area, and even the toiletries had a pleasant, fresh scent. What truly stood out was the incredible soundproofing; even in a street-facing room, I couldn't hear any outside noise at night, ensuring a perfectly restful sleep. The hotel restaurant was equally impressive. For dinner, I ordered several local specialty dishes, which were all authentic and generously portioned. The staff even offered recommendations based on my preferences, and every dish was a winner – absolutely no disappointments! The location was also perfect, being just a ten-minute walk from the main attractions, which saved a lot of travel hassle. Overall, this stay was absolutely perfect. The service, ambiance, and location were all impeccable. I've already added this hotel to my 'go-to' list and will definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Facilities: The hotel boasts fully smart, voice-controlled amenities, including a smart toilet and smart curtains. The drinking cups were also quite distinctive. There's a self-service laundry room available for 10 RMB per wash and 10 RMB for drying. Cleanliness: The room was immaculately clean. Environment: The surroundings are pleasant, with plenty of dining options directly across the road. Its central location offers great convenience for visiting various attractions. Service: Service was acceptable. However, I didn't receive the rumored small gift upon check-out. Minibar Complimentary Items: The minibar offered one can of Coke, one can of Sprite, and two bottles of water. Missed Promotions: No one informed me about the 3888 RMB CDF Hainan duty-free shop voucher upon check-in. Also, the 30 RMB Gaode taxi subsidy for round-trip travel between the hotel and CDF Haikou International Duty-Free City was not mentioned at check-in.

Booked this hotel for an 11hr layover in Haikou as I wanted to do some exploring in town. Called in advance from Australia to see if I could check in outside of the listed policy check in time and what I needed to do to secure my booking as some hotels don’t allow for early check in. While the staff don’t speak fluent English I was able to confirm with basic Mandarin that reception is open 24hrs and this was fine. They helped me with the right day to book the hotel, otherwise I would’ve booked the wrong day as I was only staying from 6am to 2pm (checkout time). Customer service provided by Miss Wu Chiang Mei was fantastic! This is so much value for money. Rooms are spacious and the rooms are automated - the curtains opened on arrival! The tech in the room is impressive. While not in the heart of the bustling tourist areas, it’s only a short 10min Didi ride to most attractions. It’s also walkable if you don’t mind a 40min walk. Highly recommend, would stay again and hopefully longer.

Very good hotel, good location, very close to Qilou Old Street, there is also a school next to the hotel, the a**osphere is good. Opposite the hotel is the commercial street, convenient for eating, drinking and having fun.

The room was spacious, equipped with a small sofa, a work desk, and plenty of storage, including a designated spot for luggage near the entrance. As a returning guest, I didn't snap any photos of the room this time. Our main reason for visiting was to take the kids swimming, as we specifically wanted a hotel with an indoor pool. Sofitel's design and ambiance are also very stylish and attractive, and the current affordable price made it an easy choice! The pools are excellent, divided into three sections: a large 1.4-meter indoor pool and a smaller, warm pool (Pic 1). The outdoor pool offers nice views too, and is great for a swim in the evening. A big thank you to Amber for the thoughtful little gift (Pic 2)! We opened the blind box and got an adorable little kangaroo pulling a suitcase 🦘. She also kindly asked about our stay in detail, which was incredibly considerate ❤️.
