Sandton Hotels with Gym

I had a very pleasant stay at Hyatt House Sandton. The hotel is calm, safe, and in a good location, with easy Uber access to Nelson Mandela Square and Rosebank Mall. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. They allowed me to check in early before the official time, and on my birthday evening I returned to my room to find a surprise birthday cake waiting for me. Such a thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was good, but remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Overall, a comfortable stay and I would definitely come back again.

My stay at Hotel Sky was a much needed staycation for me. I needed some peace & quiet for the weekend and I got exactly that and more! The room was beautifully vibrant & clean, the bed was comfortable and cozy. I loved the blackout blinds it made my sleep even better. I enjoyed the spa so much & the ladies there are friendly, in fact from the moment I walked into the hotel I was helped with the checking in process & taken to my room by one of the staff members. I love how everyone is hands on in making sure your stay is wonderful.

The service is very good, the breakfast is very rich, the room is clean and tidy, probably newly renovated, the internal facilities are very stylish and comfortable

I had the best time just relaxing at the hotel . The staff were very friendly and because it was my birthday they upgraded my room and gave me free breakfast . I had an amazing time and I can’t wait to go back . Room services was also really great and the views were amazing .

Pros: 1. Located in a safe and convenient area (Sandton). The hotel opened less than two years ago, so it's very new. 2. There are two Chinese restaurants downstairs that offer takeout – one Hunan cuisine and one Hong Kong style. Cons: 1. Even though many Chinese guests stay here, the breakfast is entirely Western and seems like a 'reduced' version. For example, there are no scrambled eggs or button mushrooms, and the fruit slices are tiny, with fewer than ten pieces displayed at a time. 2. The hotel's renovation and construction show signs of cutting corners: The bathroom has a strong odor because the toilet and shower drains are combined, and no proper treatment was done to save costs. The walls have cracks and crumbling plaster, which feels a bit dangerous. The joints in the interior decoration are very noticeable and lack attention to detail.

It was definitely a pleasure to stay with them again. And their breakfast is amazing 👏 🤩 😍

The value for money is decent, mainly due to the security. Johannesburg isn't the safest place, so Sandton is a better fit. This hotel used to be an old Hilton, so the facilities are a bit dated. There's a shuttle bus every half hour to Mandela Square, where you can eat and shop.

It was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating and arranged airport pickup. The breakfast was lovely as well as room service. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Jhb. 💕❤️ The rooms were clean although amenities needed to be requested suxh as robes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo etc - not really nice after a long flight. As well as water, so if this could be provided first that would make it even great.

I have stayed at the Quatermain before, and I am happy to say that the whole experience was once again just lovely! I had arrived VERY early on my check-in day and the staff made sure that I had a room well before the scheduled check-in time AND they upgraded me too! The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and all round just a delight!! Even with the ongoing challenges that loadshedding (scheduled power outtages) brings to the smooth operation of any business. The gardens are immaculate and tranquil, and it is unbelievable to think you are in the middle of everything with the peace and quiet that pervades. The little bistro / restaurant's menu is thankfully limited, as it means that the quality can be assured and anything that is made tastes deliciously homemade. The evening buffet is very good value for money! Just a small note that due to loadshedding, sometimes the email/booking system gives some issues - so don't forget to just follow up once booked :)

I stayed here for two weeks. There was daily cleaning which was great. The room was clean and cozy and had everything I could need. The hotel was simple, nothing to complain about. The staff were great and friendly all the time. Some neighbors were loud but nothing to be scared of as I felt safe at all times. Unfortunately there was construction during my whole stay, but they were friendly too and kept the dust at a minimum. It was also a 5 minute Uber to Sandton which was a plus. I would definitely stay here again, especially for a long term stay.
