I’ve been to Monterey many times over the years and always considered spending a little extra to stay here. My stay was alright. The room was clean, loved the big tub and stand alone shower. Duvet was very comfortable but only thin down pillows with no support.
I was disappointed with my “ocean view” which ended up being brick wall of the building next door, with a questionable metal “balcony.” If you were brave enough to peer over you could see the ocean.
Parking is $50+ a night whether you valet or self park. We weren’t told which of the nearby parking garages were affiliated and ended up in the wrong garage the first night and had to pay double. If I stay again I’d just skip on their garage and use the one on Foam St for $20 overnight parking.
We did not visit the restaurant so cannot speak on that.
Area is fun, love the proximity to the aquarium. Lots of little touristy shops and cafes right outside on the *****.
For the price plus the additional parking fee I do not know that I’d stay here again. Driving to all the local hot spots is pretty easy so staying a little bit away from the area and spending less seems to be a better idea for me personally.

The room was very clean, the location was easy to find, the front desk service was good, and there was a small convenience store where it was very convenient to buy snacks.

Everything was good except the fact of someone pounding on my door at 1:00am then they took off! It was ridiculously unacceptable as they think it’s funny! Other then that, the view of the beach from our room was spectacular. Well worth the cost. Checking in/out was quick and easy.

The quality and location of Marriott are good. It is very close to Fisherman's Wharf. The overall supporting facilities are also good. The decoration is a bit old, but the cleanliness is OK. There are no toiletries. I don't know if I need to ask the front desk. The sound insulation is poor, which may be the case in the United States. The parking fee is really expensive, and you have to spend money. Overall, I am satisfied.

This should be the most satisfying hotel I stayed in during this trip. The facilities, environment, location and sea view of the room are all amazing. The hotel's breakfast is not a buffet, you have to order it yourself, which is very good. You can choose how much you want to spend. The breakfast is very delicious and the service is very thoughtful. It was a bit cold in the morning, so we sat on the terrace. The waiter turned on the big warm light for us. With the sea breeze and the sea view, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with our beloved family. I really hope time will stay at this beautiful moment.

Originally wanted to go to the small town of Monterey to participate in the music festival, missed, random hotel, stay was very pleasant, the layout of the whole room is very emotional, the service is thoughtful. There are many restaurants and small bars at the entrance of the hotel, it is worth staying. But the treasures booked on Trip.com have noticed that in addition to paying the room fee when placing an order on the webpage, the amount marked to the hotel and then pay xxx yuan is wrong. The hotel's single room is charged as if it is about 100 💲.

It's Christmas, and the hotel has a great atmosphere, with two oversized Christmas trees! There is also a Christmas tree and a small snowman as soon as you enter. The room is relatively ordinary, with a small balcony. There is a small pedestrian street next to the hotel. There are some small shops and food you can try. They taste good!
Hygiene: quite clean
Service: Not bad, I changed rooms three times. The first time was because there were children next door, the second time was because my balcony was no longer available, and the third time, they probably got annoyed and upgraded me directly hahahaha, no impatience.
Environment: Everything around is very convenient, including Starbucks downstairs.
(Remember to buy water from the nearby supermarket, water in the room is charged)

Great location! I had a conference at the Monterey Conference which is less than a 3 min walk! Only thing was that there was no AC, I’m so used to assuming that hotels always have AC, but it was my bad for not checking ahead of time. I asked for a roll out bed, and they were able to provide that, depending on availability at no extra cost. Had a good stay! Quite historical hotel.

AAndybbbThe hotel is very clean as a whole, especially the hot water pool is very refreshing. The whole feels like a holiday cabin. Although the gym is very small, it is not bad to have a gantry. The food is a bit shabby, but the sandwiches are ok
Not very get why Americans love to eat cold eggs so much....
Yyongxing2015As a motel, it is very good. You can refuel across the street. There is an airport next to it, and there are planes taking off and landing, but it doesn't affect it. I recommend taking a room on the first floor. You don't have to carry luggage. There is a CVS store next to it.
GGuest UserThe airport to the hotel should be the starting price, the Chinese-like driver actually received 25 knives, be careful of fellow villagers, lie to you without discussion. The hotel is a motel, it is clean, and the room assigned to me is not sunny. The waiter did not clean the next day, the room was not soundproof, the bed upstairs creaked, but the guests were more civilized and quiet. At this price, you can stay for two nights. Walk over to the den monte shopping center for fifteen minutes. No breakfast, no place to eat nearby, the hotel is a street.
JJINA typical American motel with a good location, just across the road is Macy's and some restaurants. There is also a drug store CVS, but unfortunately I did not buy a mask. There is a swimming pool and gym in the hotel, but the pool is small and slightly larger than the bathtub. The gym is also very small
HHoweeThe room is large, there is a coffee machine, a microwave oven, the room on the first floor, and there is an elevator on the second floor. It is a good hotel. The only fly in the ointment is that when I made coffee, I found that the coffee bag used by the previous tenant was still in the coffee machine.
