Oslob seafari resort is an outstanding but very affordable hotel located in the south part of Cebu (Oslob) in the Philippines. You can perfectly plan to stay one or two nights of your holidays in this place to enjoy all the landmarks and activities around the hotel. The Whaleshark watching activity is really close, 5 minutes by motorcycle.
The staff are friendly and rooms have basic amenities including air conditioning, free wifi, toiletries, towels, toothbrush, and complimentary water.
The hotel has three outdoor swimming pools with great views to sea. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars within 10 min or less walking distance.

Outstanding
GGuest UserIsland is beautiful, food is acceptable. But service is very bad. I traveled by air for a few hours followed by another 3 hours on bad road condition then ferry to the hotel, when i was super tiring. I arrived at hotel at 11am and waited until 3pm to have a room.
I dont understand why it takes four hours for cleaning when i have told the front desk lady multiple times that i am not feeling well. I d rather clean it myself. On the second day, we went out for diving and came back at 2pm, hotel didnt do room cleaning at all..
I also asked for a spa session. The lady pointed me to a random place with nobody inside. I walked back and forth to ask her again. It happened again when my room is ready. I cant find my room but walking back and forth. Far worse than Thailand, Indonesia in service and price are equally expensive. Suggest to train staff with basic hospitality ethics instead of leaving the guest wandering around for hours and hours.
Hotel upgraded our meal with breaky and dinner. But food quality is not hotel level. No other choice on this island. I wont come back to Philippine again.
ЛЛюдмилаThis is a super hotel, so bright with a new renovation. But the most important thing is that the staff are very kind people who help with everything. Kent is a very nice guy, he booked us a queue for an excursion to the sharks at 5 am, we went to get the queue. Then we came back and went to bed. At 6 o'clock our turn came, we returned to the sea. He agreed that only the guys from our hotel, 8 people, were in the boat. We also rented a GoPro through him for underwater filming. And through the hotel we also booked places on a boat to Bohol. The location is excellent, 1 minute walk to the place where you can swim with sharks. The room is clean, the towels are snow-white. In general, I liked everything.
PPEASHOOTSWe had a lovely time staying at GT Seaside Inn. The staff were helpful with booking us onto tours and booking the ferry to Bohol.
Rooms were clean and spacious with a very good air conditioning unit.
GGuest UserWhile the people working at the 'resort' were really very very nice, the place itself was not. The whole place appears to be in pretty poor condition with minimal anesthetics. Rooms for 1-2 persons are very small (but ok for sleeping) , my room did not have wifi reception (I had to go out to a dining area near the pool to get any signal, so no privacy), the pool was nice and the water clear but the sides were lightly green with algae. That said, there are lots of jeepkos for getting around very cheaply, a nice shopping center relatively close, and you couldn't ask for kinder, nicer, more helpful hosts!
Note: There is no real beach near there, just short narrow areas with a bit of sand and a lot of rocks at the waters edge. The sea is really beautiful and clear, but also lots of rock or coral. Also, most (not quite all) other 'resorts' in the area looked to be in similar condition.
GgenkyleIt’s very strategic. It’s near the Whale shark diving and Sumilon Island. The hotel has heater and airconditioning but no hygiene products like complimentary tissue. There is a bath towel but no floor mats so it was muddy after going to the beach. It’s 2 minutes from the beach but you cannot swim there because of whale sharks. Restaurant is also 2 mins away
GGuest UserLovely accommodation.
Extremely comfy bed, breakfast included in our package was nice, and complimented by a lovely view over the ocean every morning.
The staff were lovely and extremely helpful,
They helped us to book out whale shark tour and also arranged a taxi for us back to Cebu city on our last day. Can’t give them enough credit for being great hosts. Would definitely come back if we’re ever in the area again.
GGuest UserSpacious room overlooking the sea, large panoramic window covering the entire wall. There is air conditioning, hot and cold water with good pressure. There is a wardrobe, a table, a TV, a bedside table, all the furniture is not new, but it looks good.
The downside is that no toiletries are provided, they are for an additional fee, the lock on the door does not lock properly, even if it is locked with a key, it can be easily opened, it is not safe.
IIreethaWe paid 20$ per person per night. Understandable for the conditions of the place for the price we paid. But as it was very close to the road, it was so noisy at night as the lorry and buses passing by. Need to have earplugs if you want a good night sleep. For breakfast, either you buy earlier at 7 eleven at other places and not at oslob. Or you can go to whaleshark place to have your breakfast.
