In Butuan for vacation since it’s been 5 years. Friendly staff..but when we went, I didn’t realized the swimming pool was under repair so that was a little disappointing . I’ll make sure to call next time.

ZZikersPIt was one of our favorite resort in Butuan City This was our First Resort Escapade for the year 2023 and it was indeed a well spent Staycation at Almont Inland Resort. Room Accomodation : The best area indeed since it is near the Kids Pool and we can enjoy the accomodation while letting the kids enjoy playing with other kids in the pool. Food : We do love thier variety of pizza flavors a must try at this place. This were aside from the sumptuous buffet meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amenities : The resort's pool is one of the best here in butuan City. You can enjoy it from 7AM up to 9PM and have your foods serve at the cottages near it. One thing I love in this resort is the value of nature. Beautiful sceneries and very lavish green sorroundings that help you calm and forget the busy and noisy scene of the City. We will again visit this place from time to time since we love to bring our family in this resort and get a escape of a busy City Scenario. A great place to Relax and Unwind..

GGuest UserWARNiNG!! DONT BOOK for THIS SCAMMERS!! We booked a room for 3 people (as it says sleeps 3 for one room) for August 2023 for one night only because we have flight in the morning. I’ve asked for the agent to change my name to my husband’s as I will be late for few hours and I was the one who booked them so I should show my passport and bank card. The agent changed it to my husband’s name and put my son’s name and didn’t include my name! And when ive complaint about it the hotel asked me for a payment of 2500 gbp extra!! Is something wrong with their heads or what?? Then they denied that in Hotel.com website says that the room sleeps 3. They said they only do 2. Then telling me that my son is 14 so he is not allowed in the room. Told them when I’ve booked, it asked me for my son’s age and there was no problem. Anyway I’ve ready all their policy and there was nothing indicating 18 years old above. What disgusting people!!!

666772625The Grand Palace Hotel was a real let-down, starting with not living up to what they say. They claim to provide tea & coffee in the rooms, but there's no tea. Their web site says they have an airport shuttle, but they don't. Breakfast was disappointing too. Only 2 juices. Luckily one was usually pineapple. As well as the usual lukewarm breakfast items, they had some random cakes that were as bland as cardboard. Fortunately, you can walk through the Annex, cross the road and a few metres to your right is a bakery that sells doughnuts for 6 pesos that are vastly better. The hotel has guards with assault weapons and dogs. Seems pretty ridiculous and unsafe. Also the dogs spend most of their time living in cages alone next to the swimming pool. I had two bookings here, the first in a big king room. (They call it a ”matrimonial” room!) The WiFi mostly didn't work. It's totally inadequate for the number of people who use it, especially if a big business group comes in for a conference during the day. (The DHCP server just runs out of addresses and you can't connect until someone else disconnects.) Even when it connected, it wasn't very fast. One other issue I had was the appearance of cockroaches every so often. The small single room was a vast improvement, as well as being half the price. While the single rooms have no windows, they have two massive advantages. Firstly, fast WiFi that works. The single rooms are in a hall behind the reception area and have their own access point that works brilliantly and isn't overloaded. Secondly, the small room doesn't have so many places for roaches to hide. I didn't see a single insect intruder. Note for those who might be confused by this site: The information and reviews on this page are for the Butuan Grand Palace Hotel. There is also an Annex. Tripadvisor currently has the headings swapped.

I know there are times that she's not on duty, she always finds way to help me. This is one of the good things I love about watergate, they are willing to go extra mile for their guests!❤️ My current stay here in watergate became extra because they prepared a welcome note for me inside my room. SSteve R I Stayed at the Dotties places hotel with a colleague in January,our original booking was for two weeks but we were both so impressed with the exemplary service we decided to extend our booking for a further two weeks. The hotel is situated within walking distance of local shops and amenities and only a short journey to the wonderful countryside and beaches. We both enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the evening eating the 1st class local cuisine prepared for us by the hotel chef The manager and staff were extraordinary kind and helpful to the extent of working beyond their normal hours to help us with our complicated travel arrangements. I hope to return to the Dotties in the future and have no hesitation in recommending staying at this hotel.
