The reason to stay is the view. But we booked a standard room without view as would have it during breakfast.
Arrived and did not have our room so put is in a room with view Nd then moved us to standard room. The reason to book anywhere for two nights is to relax.
I said no to upgrade that's how I found out they did not have my room. I wanted to Unpack a little and have stuff out. Not have to pack up before being picked up on tour.
Sales pitch expected as poor area.
Breakfast was way too much, very tasty
Roof views are great and across the road from entry gate to pyramid.
Area is very poor, motel sent a footman with me to teller and back so would be safe.this was great help to me but gives you an indication of the area. You have to stay this close of U want to look out and see the pyramid so close.
Overalls I don't think a bad stay, bed sheets clean, staff nice although push for review, but after seeing the area these people need tourist work to survive.

Here’s a more enthusiastic version: The hotel was absolutely fantastic if you're looking for something simple yet charming! They offered free WiFi and delicious breakfasts. I was so surprised when they went out of their way to liaise with my dad to arrange a birthday cake for me—such a sweet gesture! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure we were happy. And if you want to stay close to the Giza Pyramids and enjoy a breathtaking view while having breakfast, this is the perfect spot! Huge thanks to everyone for making our stay so memorable, especially Mustafa, the big boss, who ensured everything ran smoothly. We miss you all already! Highly recommended to anyone visiting—this hotel is a gem! Big hugs to everyone 🙏🙏🙏

Hotel room is lovely, we stayed in a family suite which essentially an apartment, clearly has recently had some good investment as it was new and clean and well designed. A wonderful little sanctuary after being out in the craziness that is Giza. There is obviously a fantastic view of the pyramids here and was one of our main motivations for choosing this hotel. One evening we stayed in the hotel for dinner and the pyramid light show. Food was good but would say it was on the pricier side for what we expected for Egypt at around 4000 Egyptian Pounds for the 4 of us, but obviously we are paying for the convenience of eating in our hotel too. The room had information about a laundry service (we did not use so I can't comment on this service) and there are house rules and general information which is quite helpful. Tea and kettle in the room and water was in the fridge on arrival. Breakfast is a cold breakfast, but a big variety including fries, eggs, breads and vegetables. The omelette station was hit and miss with the staff member ignoring my child so we just didn't ask again. Reception staff and the manager are very helpful and kind. WiFi was really reliable. We had some experience of staff trying to upsell constantly, for example breakfast comes with one coffee or tea but we were asked if we wanted to buy a latte or cappuccino instead. However, this seems to be the norm for Egypt. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserI am truly grateful for your gracious hospitality. Your warm welcome and generous accommodations were greatly appreciated. Special thanks to (SAMAR). I cannot express enough how grateful I am for your kindness during my stay, Strongly Recommend for Everyone to Visit This hotel.
The Khan Duidar is a true oasis amidst the vibrant energy of Giza. While the location may seem intimidating to the less adventurous, it offers an authentic experience in a typical Egyptian neighborhood, just a stone's throw from the Pyramids. As Americans, we were initially unprepared for the what felt like chaos on the street, but after four nights, we couldn’t have been more satisfied. The view is exactly as promised—breathtaking. It felt like we could almost reach out and touch the Pyramids from the shared balcony. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and each morning we enjoyed a delicious blend of European and Egyptian breakfast on the shared balcony, all while soaking in the incredible scenery. The rooms were impeccably clean and pristine, with modern amenities. The shower, complete with plenty of hot water and a bidet, was a refreshing way to rinse off the dust after a day of exploring Cairo like Indiana Jones. Though the bustling streets outside initially felt overwhelming, venturing out was a pleasant surprise. The nearby street food was both authentic and affordable, with delicious shawarma for two costing just four bucks. There’s even a local bakery just steps away. While there was some construction that made navigating the side alley entrance challenging, the Khan staff were always in the lobby, eager to assist. Their 24/7 availability was unmatched. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be the option for daily room service. We would have gladly paid for it, had it been offered. Overall, the Khan Duidar was our peaceful retreat during our Giza adventure. Thank you, Khan Duidar, for making our stay unforgettable!
After driving through chaotic Cairo, (Our driver was calm and collected), and still in a culture shock, we arrived at the Inn at 3 am. We were politely shown our room. The canteen was always open for coffee, tea and bottled water which we were grateful of in these early hours. The room was clean (including bathroom) and the bedding (cushions included) were fresh. Fridge, tv and water kettle. The breakfast buffet: an assortment of fruit, cheese, breads, eggs – boiled and scrambled, salad and traditional homemade sauces etc. etc. enough for a hearty European or Egyptian appetite. Coffee and tea all day long free of charge! The employees were informative, helpful, attentive and most of all so friendly - like being a visiting family member!! It was a most enjoyable stay that I can truly recommend: an authentic Egyptian warm-hearted experience!!! Thankyou!
GGuest UserThe hotel is very suitable for visiting the pyramids. It is about 20 minutes walk from the Sphinx. The top floor restaurant can see the pyramid. The surrounding environment of the hotel is the epitome of Cairo. The reception staff was very welcoming. The restaurant's food tastes good, the dinner included is carefully made according to the requirements, and beer is delivered on the last night. The room is newly renovated, the space is large enough, but the facilities are simple, the quality needs to be improved, and the room WIFI needs to be greatly improved. Trip.com The webpage shows that there is an error, there is no airport shuttle bus, and the pick-up and drop-off fee is $25 per trip, which is much more expensive than Uber.
MMinminzi666The service of the store clerk is very good!!! The guys are very enthusiastic and the waiter at the door is also very reliable! You can see the pyramids from the balcony upstairs. The price of pizza ordered in the store is also very reasonable, and it was delivered to my room. The old man at the door is also very good! He always helps us and always smiles and guides us! The garden is also very good! It really exceeded expectations! The only drawback may be that it was a bit cold when we stayed in January because the hotel air conditioner only had cold air🥹
Very friendly and helpful staff, AC in the room working well, rooms were clean. Offers a great breakfast with a beautiful view! And at a walkable distance to the pyramids. Loved that they offer cold water at the reception! Only 2 minor points: On the second floor in our room the wifi wasn't working. Adress on google maps is not clear, name of the hotel is called: 'the great pyramids view' for one or another reason with no recognisable pictures of the hotel itself what can lead to confusion when you're trying to find your way back. Overall a great experience for a very good price, would recommend!
GGuest UserThe hotel brother is very polite, helping to arrange the itinerary is also a lever. We arrived at the hotel at 1 o'clock and discussed the itinerary with him. It was not determined until 3 o'clock. We were very patient, very polite, very professional and very commendable! The hotel also has a pick-up service, two people 25 dollars, from the airport to the hotel, so, very powerful, the hotel room can see the pyramid, the scenery is very good, but the hotel environment is similar to the domestic hotel, to be mentally prepared, but people are very good, give people a very safe feeling
GGuest UserWe traveled to this place with our infant with the only expectation of getting a pyramids view and considering the heat, flexibility to be very close to the pyramids at Giza. The location is one of the best in the vicinity, and gives a direct view of the Sphinx. We were welcomed by warm staff (Duniya) and greeted to the terrace wherein the pyramids and the sphinx were lit at night. It was a dusty evening, but the overall atmosphere was great. The incident that has set this stay apart from the others was a personal episode. The next day we chose to visit the major locations of Cairo side like the NMEC and Khan-al-Khalili, and some shopping. En route, my wife lost her phone and we were extremely stressed out in the evening, with all her contacts and memories on the phone. This is the instance when the hospitality of the hotel came into picture. Nearly everyone on the reception staff was aware of the situation, and they started going out of their way to help her. Be it calling the taxi at night and asking (more like instructing) to do whatever it takes to find the phone, to go at each and every place in Cairo and Giza we had been. Language is a constraint, and at each and every instant we wanted a person of trust to translate Arabic to English for us, and in addition, to provide guidance. Ashour at the reception constantly kept calling on my phone to ask updates. They even arranged for a late breakfast for us. To cut the story, we did FIND the phone and there was a happy story in the end. I have to place emphasis on the fact, that Cairo and Egypt functions on a different set of principles that involves a lot of over selling. If we can separate that emotion, and trust on such people who are really willing to help (they still might want to sell you a package ;)), sets the experience apart. They even treated our young kid with a friendship band. The restaurant food quality could be improved, but please remember, first and foremost its a tourist place with a very high footfall. I would like to visit Cairo again, and without a beat stay at this place. Thanks Duniya and Ashour for us to make our stay a very memorable one.
鄙鄙德潘Booked on Ctrip, checkin the same day, the waiter didn't receive my order and asked me to resubmit $ 20 to rebook. Find Ctrip to deal with, Ctrip is very enthusiastic and has repeatedly confirmed that the communication with the booking agent is paid and no further payment is required. After communicating for one morning, I decided to refund the order and go to another hotel for reservation. As a result, when the waiter saw that I was going to die, he refused to pay an additional 20 dollars and immediately made a mistake at 180 degrees. Let me live right away. I'm drunk too. The people here have a deep routine. The instant impression is down. The only advantage of this hotel is that the sunset of the pyramid can take the horizon, and the rest of the facilities can not be complimented. Recommend this hotel for the second night (Pyramid Valley Boutique Hotel). The facilities are very good, and the waiter boss is enthusiastic. The boss's son also invited me to drink Coke at night, free of charge. Focus on helping him promote it. The most important thing when traveling is to be honest and not pit each other. Pictures are from pyramides valley. Hygiene is much better than this one. Bringing a girl is not recommended to stay in this hotel, take it to the bottom of the Golden Tower ...
GGuest UserWe stayed as a couple for a week and I will certainly return to Egypt and in particular to this hotel for the excellent value for money but above all for all the support provided by the owner and his family. We had all the necessary support for organizing the activities we wanted to do and I recommend booking the tours through the hotel as there are two main advantages: 1) the price is very competitive and lower than online booking platforms 2 ) compared to local tour operators the prices are similar but those organized by the hotel are private tours with no queues and freedom of organization (which I consider fundamental both in terms of departure times and in terms of staying in each activity). The owners of the Hotel, in addition to being prepared to provide any service and information, they have a vast network of affiliated shops and I recommend contacting the owner or his children to make sure you have quality products at a competitive price as in tourist areas the products are offered at tourist prices much higher than those offered through local intermediaries The Hotel has two great advantages, in addition to complete support as just described: fantastic view from the terrace which allows relaxation with a view of the pyramids and consequent proximity to the entrance gate of the Giza plateau. It is a hotel equipped with all the necessary comforts, the beds are really very comfortable and the rooms are well organised
