The scent of flowers and the air are so good that it feels like living in an oxygen bar. In addition, before traveling, the hotel manager Zou has contacted me to inquire about my needs, such as hotel facilities, itinerary arrangements, and local area. Weather, traffic... etc. until I left Taining, she is indeed a very responsible and attentive employee who takes care of every guest. It is the most considerate service experience I have never encountered in all my years of traveling. When I left Still reluctant to leave! ! I hope to come back soon to rest and play. HHyoriBefore commenting, considering not to bring too much personal emotions, I decided to stay again two months after leaving the hotel.
Facilities: The hotel facilities are remarkable, but don't compare them with the requirements of first-tier cities. I personally feel that they are still okay.
Hygiene: Very clean, the aunt who cleans the room is friendly, thumbs up!
Environment: Downtown area, convenient. Yong'an is where I was born. It can be said that I left my hometown, took root, and returned to my hometown. The surrounding environment is also friendly.
Service: The service of the hotel's housekeeping department is great. I like all the room service including the front desk staff👍
The most ”exciting” part is here, and the key point is: it is not recommended to dine in the restaurant on the 2nd/3rd floor of the hotel. The service attitude of the catering department is really bad (note⚠️ I mean the dinner restaurant catering. The aunts who provide breakfast and cook flat meat rice noodles and noodles are super enthusiastic)!
The story started when the hotel front desk informed that the restaurant was full that night (during the Spring Festival), but you can go to the restaurant to order dishes and have them delivered to the room. The waiter took us to the director of the catering department to order food. The director's reaction to the guests was to sit in his office chair and say, ”I'm busy and don't have time” (she can't even stand up in front of the guests, and can't do the most basic etiquette. How did she become this director? A relative?!) We didn't care much, and the waiter could only go to their manager. The manager gave us a menu. After looking at the menu, I found it a bit difficult (personal taste is used to authentic Cantonese cuisine, after seeing the mixed dishes on the pad). After the manager of the catering department heard me and my father say something, she suggested that if we feel that it is not suitable, we can go to the restaurant on the corner of the first floor. We immediately asked if the restaurant downstairs was of the same level of food, and the answer we got was: ”It's almost the same, our employees eat there.” But when we got downstairs, we were dumbfounded 🙄 a dimly lit small stall with worrying hygiene conditions. I really can't understand that a so-called four-star hotel catering manager still has such a poor understanding of customer needs when repeatedly asking guests to confirm whether the food is of the same level. We can only go back to the restaurant again and ask if we can introduce a nearby restaurant of the same level. The attitude of the waiter in the catering department was cold and impatient: ”Everywhere is full now, there are no seats, such as the old Yong'an in the street, Xi Xiangfeng, which are of the same level, but there should be no seats.”
At that time, I was really angry. I thought, how could a four-star hotel have such a poor service in the catering department, especially during the Chinese New Year. The family had not been back to Yong'an for more than ten years. They went back happily to visit their relatives, but encountered such a bad thing.
Afterwards, we also reported this situation to the hotel front desk, and the director of the housekeeping department also apologized to us (again, this matter has nothing to do with the housekeeping department), and proposed to send yogurt as compensation (I don't know if there is a tradition in domestic hotels to send yogurt to settle the matter, but we strongly refused), sister, I really don't need it.
As guests, we are more inclined to believe that if this kind of catering service is not improved, it is equivalent to directly smashing the hotel's signboard, and a good housekeeping department will be implicated.
Finally, we went to ”Xin Xiangfeng” for dinner. There is no harm without comparison. The catering service is enthusiastic and the dishes are well cooked.
Next time I go to Yong'an, I will probably consider other four-star or above hotels. But I still want to say sincerely that apart from the issue with the food and beverage department, the entire stay experience was still good, and I would like to thank the housekeeping department and the front desk staff in particular. GGuest UserA friend recommended this hotel, and overall, it was fantastic! The receptionist was very kind and gentle, and she upgraded our room for free. The facilities were complete and cozy, and the lake view from the balcony was amazing—so pleasant! The hotel staff were all very polite, always greeting us with a smile, even the chefs and room service staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming everywhere.
The buffet breakfast had a good variety of dishes, and the freshly ground coffee in the lobby bar was also excellent. At only 9.9 yuan, it was an absolute steal! [Thumbs up][Thumbs up][Thumbs up]

TTom FuzerNice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu

Secondly, there are many choices for eating nearby, including various farmhouse dishes and snacks. The hotel room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities but a little old due to time. The matching tea set is very practical, and it is comfortable and cozy to make tea in the room at night. There is no problem with the wall sound insulation, it is quite quiet, the bed is of medium softness and can provide more support, the breakfast is not rich but it has everything it should have. I compared many hotels before booking, and this one is a good match at this price. I am quite satisfied with this stay and will consider it next time

GGuest UserAfter the three afternoon customer meeting, dragging the slightly sunken step to push open the hotel door, the tip of the nose first hit a wisp of light aroma, not a strong fragrance, but like the sun-dried cotton fabric mixed with lemon grass clear. The light in the room is soft and not dazzling, the light gray walls and log furniture are warm and light, and the most intuitive sense of practicality comes from the bedding: the rice white Gong sheets are flat without a trace of folds, and the creases pressed out of the corners of the pillowcases are full of regular rituals. There is no water stain on the mirror in the bathroom, the tile gap is full of just-wiped brightness, and even the floor drain in the shower area is clean and no hair can be seen. The mineral water bottle on the desk can be wiped to see the shadow, and the charging cable and note paper are arranged into a small square according to the function. The most afraid of ”will feel” on business trips is broken here~ clean is not deliberate neatness, but let people put down the peace of mind, as if this space has been waiting for you, the dust and fatigue along the way, are gently picked up.
