What a hidden gem of a hotel I stumbled upon! As someone who travels extensively for work, staying in hotels often feels like a lottery, and this time, I hit the jackpot. The hotel is conveniently located near the highway exit, making it perfect for those traveling by car. It's in the vicinity of Yuanyishan, offering a good distance whether you're heading to the municipal government, the airport for business, or visiting the Giant Panda Garden and Anzhou city center. At just over 100 RMB, under 200, the value for money is excellent. The entire room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the surroundings were very quiet, with almost no noise, allowing for a good night's rest. What impressed me most was the shower – strong water pressure and ample flow made for a great bathing experience. The breakfast selection was simple but tasted decent. The staff were humble and polite. Overall, while it doesn't boast overly luxurious amenities, every aspect is practical and well-executed, without being ostentatious. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations. If you're passing through this area, I highly recommend considering a stay here.

For my Qingming Festival holiday trip, I booked an executive suite at this hotel. A day before my arrival, the hotel assigned a personal butler to provide one-on-one assistance. They asked comprehensive questions about my stay, like if I was traveling with elderly or children, if I smoked, or had any allergies. They then sent incredibly detailed guides for dining, entertainment, and a very thorough handbook about the Baden Hotel. On the day of my arrival, the butler confirmed my estimated check-in time, sent the hotel's location, and even tracked my progress on the way. Stepping into the hotel, it truly felt like they had thought of everything to make guests feel 'at home'. The front desk staff was handsome, friendly, gentle, and meticulous. You just had to show up; the staff handled everything, even escorting me to the elevator. It was my birthday that day, and my butler arranged a birthday hat, glasses, and a cake for us, along with welcome fruits, a souvenir gift, a thoughtful greeting card, wet wipes, eye masks, and other small presents – I was so touched by their thoughtfulness! Every staff member I encountered here gave off the impression that the hotel treats them well, and in turn, they treat guests equally well. The hotel is currently undergoing road construction outside, which the staff proactively informed me about, and they even provided earplugs for any potential noise. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Jiangyou.

Celebrity Youngsun Hotel is a smaller sister hotel attached to the more premium Xinhua Hotel. Xinhua Hotel appears to be the main business while Celebrity Youngsun is the cheaper stay located in an inconvenient to access annexe building quite a walk away from the reception. Further, the annexe building itself has narrow stairs and corridors, no elevators provided (really troublesome if you have luggage) and the corridors and stairs are poorly lit and rather dark and a bit spooky for the faint of heart. Location thus gets a low score as the only plus point is that it is close to several bus stops and not too far from the Yuewang Tower. Amenities are decent and free breakfast is included in the stay with a decent spread provided. The hotel also has a rather popular restaurant, but as there was an event going on, did not have a chance to dine there.

Exceptional service always shines through! I was heading to Tangjiahe to see wildlife, and Mianyang was the most convenient transfer point. I wanted a hotel near the station. I hadn't heard of Baden Hotel before, but seeing its 4.8 rating on Ctrip and the affordable price, I figured it wouldn't be too bad – so I booked it! From the station, it's about an 8-minute walk if you turn left and keep going. The Shenzhou Car Rental pickup point was also conveniently located along the way! Check-in was very efficient, and my pre-requested non-smoking and quiet room preferences were both met. The room even had a pillow menu and silent earplugs, which was a very thoughtful touch. The carpet in the guest corridor was new and clean; I asked and found out it had only been replaced a few months ago. Before dinner, the front desk recommended Yang Feichang Chinese Restaurant nearby. On my way out, I met a concierge staff member, who was dressed impeccably and behaved courteously, and helpfully gave me directions. Breakfast was abundant, and the bakery items were particularly outstanding – expertly made. They even had a few types of sourdough bread and I spotted honeycomb honey, which you usually only occasionally see at five-star hotels. Even more surprising, after I ordered rice noodles at the live cooking station, a restaurant employee proactively offered to bring it to my table. Their attitude was warm and friendly. This level of service far surpasses many five-star hotels in bigger cities! When checking out, I accidentally left a bag of fruit in the room. Just two minutes after leaving the hotel, I received a call from housekeeping, saying they would bring it down to me immediately. Warm, professional, efficient, and excellent value for money. The 4.8 rating is well-deserved! Highly recommended!

I had a great stay at this hotel and would recommend it. The room is designed with a lot of attention to detail. I really liked the easy controls for lights, curtains, and air conditioning. There are many charging ports, which is very convenient. The room also has good quality toiletries and excellent bathroom fixtures. I also enjoyed the tea and drip coffee in the room. The location in Mianyang is very convenient. A park, mall, restaurants, and a street with local food are all within walking distance. Overall, a very comfortable stay with a great location.

Hotel location is very good, there is a street opposite. Free parking is available, breakfast is also included, breakfast has crisp and refreshing cucumbers, fried dumplings, etc., but also compared to the meal, the front desk lady is also very enthusiastic.

A very good and comprehensive hotel with a great environment and convenient smart home features. I was particularly pleased with the breakfast and laundry and drying services. For someone traveling alone, this hotel is a great choice with excellent value for money.

The facilities were clean, the service was good, the bed and toiletries in the room were neat and hygienic, and there was no unpleasant smell in the room. The breakfast was good, and there was a laundry room and a gym, but I didn't have time to use them. Most importantly, the amenities downstairs were incredibly convenient; there was everything you could need just two streets away.

Staying at the Sheraton Mianyang Xianhai Lake was truly the ultimate family-friendly getaway near Chengdu! The serene environment, nestled between mountains and a lake, was just perfect. Plus, they have so many kid-friendly facilities that completely take the burden off parents – it's effortlessly relaxing. We went from Saturday to Sunday, and the trip was so easygoing. There's still so much more to explore, so we'll definitely be back!
