The absolute worst aspect, however, was the terrible sound insulation. I originally thought that not being next to the main road would mean peace and quiet. Instead, it was even worse than facing the main road. At 11 PM, I could clearly hear water running from showers in the adjacent rooms on both sides! I even recorded a video as proof. On top of that, there was the constant booming and rattling from outdoor AC units and metal ventilation pipes. I was so utterly exhausted that I only managed two hours of sleep that night. There was also a persistent dripping sound from upstairs. By then it was too late, and with an early 7 AM departure the next day, I didn't want the hassle of complaining to the front desk, so I just let it slide.
