Bordeaux Hotels with Gym

"It was my first time to Bordeaux, France, and I chose Hotel 56 among many hotels. It is a brand new hotel that has only been opened for 9 months. I like it very much, because one hotel has doubled my favorability towards the entire city👏 Location: Very good, 400-500 meters away from Bordeaux Railway Station. The hotel faces the uniquely shaped art gallery and the sparkling Doron River~ Food: I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and purchased 3 days of breakfast at the hotel. The food was fresh and sufficient, and the quality and taste were great~ I also had a good afternoon meal in the hotel restaurant. The quality of the red wine and snacks was very good, and the price-performance ratio was very high~ Service: I met several guys at the front desk who all spoke English very well, there was no pressure to communicate, and their attitude was sincere. They sincerely provided services to every guest~ Recommended, recommended, recommended🫶🏻🫶🏻"

"If you are travelling to Bordeaux with a train, the hotel is just around 10 minute walk away. It is slightly further away from the city centre, However, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and it takes you to the centre in just few minutes. We booked the room with king bed and the room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. The shower was great and can’t recommend it enough. The bed was also amazing and very comfortable. There is room service everyday if you would like that also. However, there are few things to mention such as the aircon which didn’t work particularly great. We have put it on the minimum temperature setting which is 19 degrees and the room was definitely not getting cold enough. Additionally, the TV remote at times didn’t work particularly great which isn’t a big issue but something to note. We also had purchased breakfast with our room and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone planning to stay here. Variety of choice and personally one of the few things I always wanted at hotel breakfast was to be able to do my boiled eggs the way I want to have it and you can at this hotel as there is a container with boiling water which you place your eggs in which was pleasantly surprising for me. Another thing I would also mention for breakfast is the waffle machine which also was used everyday of the stay. Staff are friendly and it is very easy to check in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but just bear in mind the aircon may not be great."

"Good location, very easy to commute to the rest of the town. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The only issue we faced was the air conditioning. Overall, a great stay!"

"🟢 The location was very convenient and easy to travel around. We parked there and then used the tramway to get around. Convenient and easy. The inside of the building looks fresh and good. The rooms were quite big so we could spread everywhere. Surprised to see the toilets and showers separated, but enjoyable. Large choice for the breakfast for 18€ but had to wait sometimes for refill. 🔴 the staff wasn't really friendly except if you were the one to do your approach and talk to them. There was an alarm early morning during our stay and no-one was at the reception to greet us and tell us if we had to evacuate or anything. When we (other clients and us) told the réceptionnist it wasn't normal she got upset and replied back instead of apologising or anything. The staff didn't know what they were supposed to do in this case. Not reassuring if there's an actual fire someday. 🟡 cleaning wasn't amazing but could have been worse so no comment on that."

"Convenient, clean, and convenient for business. There is an Auchan supermarket nearby. It is only about one kilometer to the Grand Theatre. It is very convenient. Bordeaux is a place worth staying and visiting for a week."

"The hotel is newly renovated, very creative and full of design. However, the hotel is located in a residential area, not a commercial area, so you need to book a taxi to get in and out, and it is not far to the city center by taxi."

"Quiet even in the middle of pedestrian streets for both shops and restaurants, all in abundance and for all budgets but above all in the middle of historic places and very close to the long promenade along the Garonne with its Place de la Bourse and the old stone bridge of Bordeaux! Breakfast buffet with a wide choice, both hot and cold, breads and pastries, brioche and cakes, orange or lemon water, multiple fruit juices, and to top it off, canister coffees, coffee beans, teas, etc. and obviously a platter of cannelés, a tradition of Bordeaux hospitality!!!"
