Gumbet Hotels with Gym

We booked the two bedroom family suite and we could not have been happier , unor and umut at Conceirge made my stay supreme , this is going to be my favorite hotel when I visit bodrum . Beach and swimming pool were impeccably clean and well maintained , my kids who are 3 and 6 had such a good time , everyone was friendly and everyone spoke good English .

When we arrived, we greeted a very laughing and kind attitude. Our room was very beautiful and decorated. We made a breakfast in the room and the breakfast taste was very successful. It was also too much in diversity. There is a small kitchen section in the rooms. There are many kitchen products inside the toaster. You can buy extra things and cook here for yourself. There is also a potato table in the room, which I think is very well thought. When you enter the hotel, the concept is already given. Every 3 days a room is cleaned, but they also tell you they can help if we want extra. So I can't say I'm very busy with the cleaning event in the comments. It's about how you used the room. We were two people and I can say that the room was enough. The bed comfort is beautiful. I didn't think anything else but we liked very much and there will be a place we would definitely prefer in our next holiday. Thanks very much to everyone.

I am not so satisfied.

We chose this hotel for our 3 nights and 4 days holiday. I decided based entirely on the score, but after reading the comments, you should decide carefully what you want to give and what you want to get. I think the price/performance/quality balance is good. The swimming pool is sufficient, there are 2 slides for children. The beach is beautiful, mixed sand/stone (we entered comfortably with sea shoes). And the food, day 1 ”asia night”, the food was generally very good. Day 2 was ”fish night”, day 3 was ”international night”, but we didn't see anything international at all. But I would like to thank Mr. Şener, who makes delicious pitas every evening. The ”Paris Brest” we ate after our first dinner was wonderful, it was freshly made and served. The breakfast is varied and sufficient. Thanks also to the master who made delicious pastries every morning (they were finished the moment they came out of the oven). We chose a standard bunk bed room with our 2 children, the room was small, there was only the bed and the bunk bed next to it, we could not open our suitcase easily. I read about flies and insects and yes there are, the kids were a little scared when they encountered 3 spiders and 2-3 mosquitoes, but we managed. We did not find the dessert buffet in the patisserie section and lunch/dinner section sufficient and diverse. It's always the same desserts and unfortunately there is no dessert that can be eaten properly (if Paris was Brest, of course). There was live music on Wednesday and Friday and it was fun. The hotel staff consists of young people, they are generally caring and friendly. Ms. Helin, who came to us at the beach and asked if we needed anything, accompanied us to the pool, thank you (a bit confusing on the first day). So overall we were satisfied.

Lovely hotel with helpful staff, happy to carry our cases for us to the room. Room is clean, balcony with table and chairs and a drying rack with 4 arms. The bathrooms were big, I only noticed the toilet bowls were a bit stained. Generally had clean towels everyday but after the 1st day no more bath mats were left. It was a little cold at night and they only give you one waffle sheet type cover, we turned the air con off and I had to wear clothes in bed I was so cold, but its October, lovely and warm still in the day, even went in the pool. I didn't like the food much, even the chips were spicy and not much choice of fruit for dessert only melon unless you wanted an apple or pear. My husband loved the food, curries, stews etc. Also its a shame there's no ice-cream only ice-lollies between 2.30 & 4.30. Nice areas to sit in the eve with music playing but not much entertainment, it could have been because it was the end of the season. Little shop on site which is open till very late, didn't have much stock as it was closing end of Oct. We bought a pack of cards in there which we played in the eve's. Taxis are cheap to go to Gumbet centre or you can walk, the bus to Bodrum is only 30 Lira. Most of the shops in town want UK money but handy to have some lira with you. As the flights were late coming home we kept the room on for £20 till 4pm, though I heard some people with children, disabilities got there rooms kept on for free. Bodrum airport Duty free is all in Euros. The small cafe took card, lira, UK money and euros but very expensive, 2 small cokes and a bottle of water was £11. Overall a great holiday, my 1st visit to Turkey which we chose because it was still warm there, Although all the staff are friendly, I personally wouldn't return because of the food choice. Compared to other 4* hotels I have stayed in I would rate this a 3*+.

It’s great. It’s the most satisfying hotel during my trip to Turkey. Highly recommended! The hotel is beautiful, blue and white with bougainvillea, close to the Aegean Sea, and very atmospheric. The room is very large and the balcony is also very large. On the first day of check-in, the room was filled with welcome fruit desserts and a bottle of red wine. It was so sincere! The breakfast is also great. The restaurant is on the beach. After eating, you can go directly to the beach to bask in the sun. Dry towels and drinks are always ready, which makes it full of romance. The service staff were warm and friendly. They called us a taxi and helped us communicate with the driver, which saved us a lot of trouble.

Not the most friendliest people. There are no elevators and no one offers to carry any luggage up or down the stairs. It’s quite a dirty looking hotel, we walked through an overflowing drain and we couldn’t see it because there were no lights. Also, there is only one person at the egg and pancake station for breakfast, so it took almost 30 minutes to get them. The snacks at 3-4pm were finished when we got there at 3:40pm. There were 2 of us in the room and they wouldn’t give us two cards. My friend came home later than me and she had to get someone to open up and they tried to come into the room with her. It was a good price for all inclusive though and it’s really close to the beach and party areas.

Stayed 10 nights at Gumbet Cove Hotel as two couples and it’s safe to say we would not return. We arrived late so went straight to rooms and to bed. Wasn’t impressed with rooms as outdated and things falling apart, shower wouldn’t hold on it’s own and would drip constantly all night (in each room we were in) and some mornings had to have a cold shower due to no hot water coming through. A/C unit in one room had liquid marks on the wall below it and looked like it had bird feathers sticking out of the bottom of it like a bird was trapped in it. We heard noises coming from the unit on different occasions until one night we came back and there was a huge cockroach underneath it trying to get back in it! We complained at reception and had to speak through google translate due to the guy on reception not understanding english! He didn’t offer to move us rooms so we packed up and stayed with our friends in another room! The next day we told the girl on reception and she was great with us, made a few phone calls and sorted us another room which felt better than the first one! The cleaners were lovely and cleaned our rooms every other day and gave us fresh towels. First morning we went to breakfast and we felt like walking out, barely anything to choose from other than scrambled eggs and water melon and when the eggs ran out they wouldn’t replenish them even tho breakfast didn’t finish until 10am. The beach area was nice but we spent most of the days around the pool which we enjoyed. However it was apparent that staff didn’t like us bringing our own drinks around the pool and would question why we didn’t spend money at the hotel when it’s triple the price compared to Bodrum! Some days we even got muttered at in Turkish with gestures towards us which we found very rude! The atmosphere could have been much better if music was played around the pool area but instead it was on and off constantly. It is in a good location, 5 minute walk into Gumbet and 10 minute taxi ride into Bodrum which is where we spent most of our evenings. Hotel needs a lot of improvements for people to feel comfortable here and want to return!
