Guiyang Nanming District 5-star Hotels

I booked 2 rooms for my family of 5, with one child. We stayed in the deluxe twin room which has been renovated earlier this year/last year. The room and bathroom are spacious , bright and clean (except for the doorway inside the room near the closet ) with good view. The staff quality is of high standard. They all are professional and friendly (from the bell boy, the front desk to the servers in the restaurant). The executive lounge is on 53/f and it’s cozy. The view there is nice. The lounge provides a range of snacks with very professional hotel service. The breakfast also offers a variety of food and drinks. We enjoyed it! Regarding the location, there’re a shopping mall (1 to 2 min walk) and many convenient stores nearby. It’s also within walking distance to the tourist spot Jia shou Lou (甲秀樓.). However, it’s is not too close to the subway.

We were really satisfied with the room design – it was both Instagrammable and comfortable, and the view was absolutely lovely! The location of the hotel is quite good too – just around a 12-minute walk to the metro or bus, which made getting around the city very convenient. Special thanks to the captain during breakfast; his service was truly top-notch. He consistently checked on guests with a warm smile, which made our mornings even better. Also, a big shoutout to Rabby for kindly assisting us when we asked about taking the bus around the city – really helpful! There was just one issue we encountered during our stay. On the first day, we noticed that the hair conditioner couldn’t be pumped out and the hair dryer wasn’t functioning well. After we reported it, the team responded quickly by providing bottled conditioner and a replacement hair dryer – which we appreciated. However, a few days later, housekeeping took away the replacement conditioner bottles, and we were left without any again. When we brought it up a second time, the team finally discovered that the original conditioner pump was broken and fixed it immediately. While we’re happy with how quickly the staff responded, we do feel that for a 5-star hotel, it’s important to ensure that room amenities are checked thoroughly before guests check in. Overall, we still had a great experience and appreciate the excellent service from the team!

Although dated .. still rather comfortable .  We were given high tea upon arriving . Great breakfast catering for both oriental  and western . Mr Ting  丁, serves and speaks  English at breakfast room … saving my husband ( 老外) from adding sour cream into his cereal !  One disappointment with the Cantonese restaurant . The roast platter was full of fatty meat . But the manager was very kind , upon complain and us not eating it , he took the price off the bill .  Will still recommend .

Connected to this luxurious hotel is a mall which provides a short cut to the metro and the Central railway station. The indoor pool and roof top garden are fabulous but the breakfast whilst rich in diversity doesn't quite meet up to its five star standard.

The breakfast variety is surprisingly rich, with both Chinese and Western styles. The freshly cooked noodles and fried eggs are fragrant, and even a picky person like me is super satisfied. What touched me most was the details. Free mineral water and tea bags and coffee bags were prepared in the room. Bingbing also gave me a souvenir when I checked out. The favorability was immediately maxed out! I will stay here again next time I come, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

We stayed at Renaissance Guiyang five night total, and we loved the facilities especially the swimming pool our kids had great time. Room service is amazing and breakfast had variety choices Chinese and western, it meets our tastes. It was a short walk to some local shops and restaurants, which included a metro station and it was very easy to get an e-car too. There was even a robot that delivered complimentary bottled water, which was nice. Just one down side, when we checked in at 6th of August, the receptionist seems not quite to know what she is doing, she had to call over colleagues to help with the check in process and refused to scan my marriot member card, which as a result I missed out on collecting three night's worth of reward points.

Candy was very enthusiastic in introducing us to nearby attractions and snacks. We arrived late, so we had a late-night snack nearby as recommended by Candy. The hotel environment is good, with a large entrance. Unlike other hotels, it is not on a high floor, so it is easier to find. The waitresses are very friendly and greeted us as soon as they saw us. Check-out was also fast! Overall, it is very good👍

The two-night stay at Hilton was very pleasant. The butler Frank prepared a comfortable room for us in advance and provided attentive service. Willie's warm hospitality made the entire stay even more cozy and his professional service was impressive. The room was clean and comfortable with complete facilities, making people feel at home.
