Hotels near Letong Railway Station, Guangzhou

Very friendly and helpful staff, amenities were nice, and laundry on premises was super helpful. Emphasis on the helpfulness of the staff, taking time to help with the booking of train tickets intercity and allowing us to use their personal phone to make calls and inquires on our behalf for Activites as our Chinese was not fluent. Incredibly easy to catch taxis to key locations as empty cabs drive past every minute or so.

Hygiene: No problem, but there is a charger left by the previous guest. Facilities: Basic facilities are available. There are no disposable slippers, so you need to ask for them at the front desk. The toothbrush is comfortable to use. The coffee included in the set meal is self-service. There is a small coffee machine at the front desk for you to take it yourself with a disposable cup. Environment: There is only a small entrance downstairs, and the dining area is together with the front desk. The room is relatively small. There is a big difference compared to the picture. The mobile signal in the room is basically about one grid. Service: I don’t know if it’s because of the pre-sale voucher. When I called the front desk to make a request before checking in, the lady’s reply was rather stiff. Others: I lost my headphones in the store when I checked out, and I received a confirmation from the front desk guy very quickly, which is worthy of praise.

Pros: The room is spacious and equipped with basic items. Location is fantastic, near to metro and the tourist shopping street. Water pressure and heater is good. Bed and pillows are comfortable to sleep. Staff are friendly and helpful to what you need. Cons: The chiller is not working at all and our food was spoilt after a day. Lack of wardrobe space and tables to put our stuff. Need more power sockets with built in travel adapters will be even better. Overall, happy with the stay and accommodation costs is very reasonable.👍

Mercure @ Tianhe is located in an excellent location - 10 min walk away from a wide range of large malls including Grandview Mall, TeeMall@Tianhe, Victory Square, Tianhe Fashion Walk. With easy access to taxis, we are able to travel to other parts of Guangzhou from the hotel with ease. The hotel is spacious, clean, well maintained, well equipped and staffed by highly trained and helpful staff. The morning breakfast buffet is value for money - it has a wide range to suit health conscious individuals like myself and picky eaters like my children. We stayed there for 9 nights and our view from the 25th floor is spectacular especially at night. The staff were also very sweet and thoughtful - they took the initiative to pack breakfast for us ahead of our early flight at 6am so that we could have a warm and sumptuous meal at the airport before we departed. We highly recommend this hotel to any families looking for a clean, spacious, safe and accessible location for an amazing time in Guangzhou.

The hotel's location is fantastic, as it’s strategically situated near a variety of eateries and shopping malls. This made it incredibly convenient for us to explore the city, enjoy great food, and shop without having to travel far. The staff were another highlight of our stay. Both the day and night shift teams were super friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. To celebrate my child’s birthday, the hotel provided a free breakfast for two adults, which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. It added a special touch to our trip and made the occasion even more memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable environment for our family to relax after a busy day. It was clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are top priorities for the hotel. Additionally, the hotel offers a self-service laundry facility, which was very convenient for longer stays. Being able to handle our laundry needs on-site saved us a lot of time and hassle. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guangzhou. It combines an unbeatable location, excellent service, and great amenities to provide a truly enjoyable stay.

Room was nice and spacious. Location is at Beijing Road w lots of yummy food options, sound insulation was good enough that you wun get disturbed by road noise and it's a modern n recently refurbished hotel. Only downside is that the separated modern toilet n shower area is not enclosed - so not so convenient for friends staying in the same room or if you are sensitive to light (once your room mate turn on the toilet light it will May disturb the other party. The modern toilet is automated flushing which sounds very loud at night). But other than that, all is good! 👍🏻 You can get more free bottled water from them. And there's a free gym and laundry (6 washer n 6 dryer) on the 30th floor.

Strategic location in Tianhe district a few steps from the Shipaiqiao metro station. Take exit A or B from the station. Guangdong East train station, ZhujiangNewTown(City Center, bussiness district) and the Guangdong tower just a few stops. Pleasant room, comfy beds, small extras = eg: electronic curtains, robot server bringing you food or an A/C adapter. The room had a very strong shower. You are basically surrounded by restaurants and Malls, so whatever you need it will take a few minutes. Highly recommended!

Clean room and good location. 2 stops away from 体育西路 station and it is located right in a mall. There is plenty of food options available.

Great rooms super clean and very upmarket building. Nice views as well of the surroundings As a family with young kids we found the Location is very business centric as it's next to the financial tower, hence hailing a cab is very hard it felt it was far from city centre. Unfortunately for us the staff didn't speak in English, they were warm and friendly but mostly struggled to communicate. The rooms had a full kitchen but not utensils (plate, fork, spoon or knife) it did have a washing machine and a dryer. We were to travel to the whole markets for shipping but it showed it will take 40 odd mins to reach there in a cab and hence couldn't do it as it was our last night in Guangzhou.
