Hotels in Yong Qing Fang/Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, Guangzhou

I stayed here for a few days for business. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was big, the sheets were clean, and I could sleep well. The cleaning was careful in every detail. After I entered the room, I got a call from the front desk asking, “Is this room okay?” I felt their care. During my stay, the front desk staff helped me a lot. They lent me scissors, tape, and an umbrella, and they also helped me extend my stay quickly. They supported me in many ways. If you stay near Guangzhou Railway Station, I recommend this hotel. thank you.

It is an average apartment hotel.  Location is close to metro and needs better directions to find it.  Tucked behind some building.  Breakfast starts at 7:30 am which is kind of late - average food.  You can hear the people next door talking as the wall didn’t fully separate the two units (small gap near the window).  The air conditioner was excellent but the unit blows air directly onto the bed which was annoying.  Check out is 2:00 pm which was nice.

Pros: Is a boutique hotel only at level 4. Location is good, everyday can walk to Beijing road pedestrian street walking distance to eat famous taotaoju, xiesanbao, pigeo, bakery 鲍师父, drink luckin coffee, ice cream and many more , ohhh ya Singapore bkt just right at the hotel ground floor. Front desk staffs are all very friendly and helpful👍 Toilet bowl is heated toilet seat, come with bidet too. Shower water pressure is power. Bed very comfy soft hard Juz nice for me, voice command for drawing curtain, turn on off tv and lights Cons: the hotel is hide inside a small lane, you will not able to see from the main road. We were asked to drop off along the main road and push our luggages in. no proper drop off point at the front of the hotel and no ramp. Need to carry your luggage’s up down for the 2 steps staircase. If you take DiDi usually the driver will wait you along the main road need to walkout. Unless u ask to turn in. Room door no sound proof. So be prepared early morning the cleaner or people will make some noises along the corridor. Pay for city view, but end up is opp resident view😅 need to draw curtains all times.

The location of the B&B is very good. Yongqingfang is right outside the door. It is very convenient to eat, drink and have fun. It is also very characteristic of the old Xiguan. The boss is very nice. He will introduce us to the local delicious and fun things and help us with our luggage. This is my first time in Guangzhou. I love Guangzhou so much. The locals are very nice and very enthusiastic. There are many places to eat at the door. There are many old shops. You can eat whatever you want. There is also a large vegetable market within 5 minutes of walking. If you want to buy some Guangzhou specialty fruits such as yellow peel, you can buy them in the market. It will be much cheaper than buying them in other places. And the food in Guangzhou is too much in line with my preferences, desserts, wonton noodles, lo mein, clay pot rice... I love it too much. I have agreed with my child that I will bring him here again when he reaches 140cm, because then he can enjoy the bungee jumping machine and roller coaster in Chimelong. Now he can only play the children's version, and he doesn't think it's enough.

First experience for my friends at VOCO Gz but it was my repeat stay here in under 1 year! We really enjoyed our stay despite it being a short one this time but it was made even more special by the approachable demeanour of the front office hotel reception staff, Ms Sunny.! Keep up the good work, team. Housekeeping as usual did a great job as well ensuring that the rooms were well cleaned after we returned from a long day! The best and sweetest surprise fm the Voco kitchen was the kelp soup delivered for guests to the room; totally delicious & refreshing, keep up the good work team! We look forward to staying here again the nxt time we are in GZ city!

I recently stayed at Yi-Zhi near Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and Gongyuanqian Metro Station, and it was a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—just steps away from shopping, street food, and easy metro access, making it very convenient to explore Guangzhou. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with all the basic amenities needed for a short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions or local recommendations. The hotel offers good value for money considering its prime location. I would recommend Yi-Zhi to travelers who want comfort, convenience, and easy access to city attractions.

This hotel is newly opened just last year. Although the exterior of the building looks old and has a slight smell because beside is seafood wet market but the inside is completely new and very clean. The bed is super comfortable, and I had a great sleep throughout my six-night stay. The breakfast is delicious and satisfying. The hotel also provides a washing machine and dryer, which was very convenient — we could wash our clothes before heading back to Singapore. I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again next time!

It's convenient for visit around! Receptionist is very good. They're warmly help us everything, from bringing out luggage to change money. Tôi thật sự rất trân trọng những gì mà khách sạn đã hỗ trợ chúng tôi. Một ngày quay lại Quảng Châu, chúng tôi sẽ tiếp tục chọn đây là nơi lưu trú tiếp theo. The hotel is very well located, close to Beijing Road, to subway stations and many bus stops, very easy to move around from there. Besides that, on my last day, I realized that in front of the hotel there are a few narrow pedestrian lanes with some very well preserved old big beautiful houses that now have the first floor transformed into really nice cafés. Just after I booked the room I got a message from the staff with guidance on how to get to the hotel. And after that, the staff always helped me whenever I needed, all of them very kind. My room was very clean, very well equiped, big, had an excellent shower and corresponded exactly to the pictures showed on Trip.com. I was so happy there that it helped me decide to extend my stay for an additional day.

A very nice hotel with friendly staffs support throughout the day. The rooms are clean, big, and equiped with high technologies that facilitate the stays. Highly recommended for all sorts of travellers to stay. It also have washing machines service for free for long stay traveller that needs to wash their clothes. Overall a very pleasant stay in this hotel, will stay again for the next visit.
