My worst experience in last 23 years of travel to China . Had a bad experience of being cheated in exchange of $ To RMB at hotel reception . Turned out that 6 notes of 100 RMB denominations were fake . Upon noticing this asked my local business associate to call the hotel and inform them about this incident . They informed my Chinese associate that once I am back to hotel , they would check the video and sort out the problem. To my shock on my return to the hotel and talking to the front desk, they just refused to look into the problem and brushed aside my complaint . It’s first of my unpleasant experience in China .
