The room wasn’t ready for 45 minutes but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dinner buffet closes at 830 and food delivery options in the area are limited however the evening canteen staff was more than friendly helpful and walked my friend and I to the Chinese restaurant on the property (closes at 9PM) and the food was absolutely amazing !

This resort is extremely tranquil. It is one of the best designed resorts of its kind that I have been to in China. The Hot Springs are very peaceful, and the rooms are fantastic. The only downsides were - the food is poor for vegetarians. The Thai and ‘international’ options seem more like what a Chinese person who has never left China might guess people eat abroad (cold French fries or ham boiled in milk for breakfast anyone?). The hot springs play background music, which could be lovely… but the choice of dance and pop music completely clashes with the atmosphere… it’s the strangest decision. Finally, the hot springs are centered around a massive pool that has been drained, presumably for the winter. It is not taped up with warning tape which looks like the police are securing a murder scene. After investing hundreds of millions in the resort, why fail to make the pool accessible all year round? The resort is not cheap… but the murder-tape pool makes it look like a low-end budget resort. This is a real shame, because the rest of the resort is phenomenal.

The service attitude is amazing. From the moment I entered the room, they helped me carry my luggage to the room. During the two-day and one-night trip, the hotel staff greeted us as soon as they saw us. I felt like I was at home. As for the room, I booked a view room. It was luxurious and had a great atmosphere. It was also suitable for taking photos. My boyfriend liked it very much. The room facilities were also complete. Knowing that we were going to the hot springs, they also prepared two sets of yukata for the ladies.

The pool types are basically the same as those of the surrounding Xiteli, including medicinal baths, fish therapy pools, bubble pools, etc. At the same time, it is estimated that the number of open pools is related to the flow of people, so come more if there are more. Then the opening time of the swimming pool and hot springs is from 9 to 11, but there are not many hot springs open at 9. The hotel restaurant breakfast is from 7 to 10, which is basically the same type and level of hotels. I didn't try it at other times. After all, there are many farm restaurants around Conghua Hot Springs, which are more cost-effective. The hot springs are perfect, the rooms are huge, and excellent value for money! Perfect for a weekend break with friends or alone. Spent the whole time moving between the pool, the springs, and the room to relax. Everything you need in one place. Unfortunately the food is awful... and the drinks are basic... but the rooms have big fridges, so take your own supplies!

Imperial Springs is a beautiful hotel set amongst a very serene Guangdong environment. Don't expect lots of busy activity here. Lots of quiet and it's often possible to not meet any other guests for hours at a time. The hot springs were peaceful and empty of people. There are staff on hand offering tea regularly. And it is open till late. To get around the facility you will be driven by a butler. They are always friendly and helpful. As a foreigner in China, I would say that Imperial Springs perfectly blends the experience of being in Guangdong, with aspects of staying in a hotel that will make a Westerner feel at home. I will be recommending it my colleagues and friends. There is both a Chinese food restaurant and a Western food restaurant. The Chinese restaurant did not have a menu available in English. Of course the hotel is a little on the pricey side. A bit cheaper would make the whole experience feel a bit better for customers. As always, it is the staff and people at a hotel that make the experience excellent. Ceci in the restaurant was very attentive and made sure I found some high quality food recommended from the chef. The hotel clearly employes highly professional catering staff. Rako and Michael also gave an excellent welcome tour to the hotel and took the time to drive me around to see the beautiful scenery.

The handsome guy Huang Yi at the front desk provided considerate, warm and meticulous service. We drove to the basement without stopping, and picked up and dropped off with an umbrella when it rained. The neighborhood is very quiet, villa-style.
