I rarely write a review with such care and urgency, so I'll try to be as objective as possible: The Good: · The room was large, clean, new, and beautifully decorated. · The bedding was comfortable enough, and the air conditioning was adequate. · The environment was wonderful, right next to the rice paddies. The view of the sunset over the rice paddies from the restaurant was beautiful. Cycling through the rice paddies was enjoyable. · There's a basketball court. · Convenient location, a five-minute drive from both Forest Sea and Baishui Village. · Lychees were given as a gift upon departure. · The hot spring baths in the courtyard rooms have unlimited water (some hotels only have one pool). · The food in the restaurant was decent, but more expensive than outside restaurants. · Parking was convenient and plentiful (although there were no marked spaces, so people parked haphazardly). The Bad: · Breakfast was only open until 9:30 AM, which is a matter of opinion. I personally think it should have been until 10 AM, considering I was on vacation. The pillows were too high, and there were no other options. Those who sleep on lower pillows had to use towels. Upon arrival, there were no staff or signs directing parking, leaving the place in a mess. No one helped with my luggage, and I didn't even ask. After checking in, the front desk offered no guidance or directions, simply pointing me to my room. They didn't explain how to get breakfast or afternoon tea (I thought it was self-service, but it wasn't). They didn't explain the hotel's amenities or activities. They only answered my questions as they occurred to me. Generally, they should create a document or note and post it to the WeChat service group. I ordered dinner in advance on WeChat, specifying three bowls of rice. After arriving at the hotel restaurant and sitting down, only the kitchen lady came out to serve me. She knew nothing about anything and simply served me five bowls of rice per person, then charged me 10 yuan for a small bowl of rice (Figure 5). The customer service's communication was the complete opposite of what words like ”caring,” ”warm,” ”homely,” ”attentive,” and ”warm” would describe. The service attitude is stilted and rigid, and the front desk staff lacks practical skills, let alone a smile. · The courtyard rooms lack privacy, with parking readily available and people coming and going. Remember to lock the courtyard door; otherwise, someone might open it while you're in the restroom, leaving you with nothing to say. · They were very considerate and reminded you to check out on time at 12:04 PM, otherwise you'll be charged an extra 30 yuan per hour. Such emotional intelligence is rare. Overall, the environment is worthy of a boutique B&B, but your expectations for service should be lowered; the service is not worthy of a boutique B&B.
