I have been to Baiyun Mountain so many times, and this is the first time I know there is a hotel there. There is a hotel shuttle bus to take you from the foot of the mountain to the hotel. You can enjoy the scenery of Baiyun Mountain along the way. The sun is shining and the breeze is blowing~ The hotel is very exquisite, with a Chinese courtyard design, exquisite garden scenery, and corridors stacked and staggered, with a very high-end aesthetic. It should have been renovated, the facilities are very new, the room is large, and there is a large wooden table for making Kung Fu tea. There are many snacks to choose from for breakfast, like drinking morning tea, the dishes are rich, and the main dishes are also very good. It is almost at the top of Baiyun Mountain when you go out, you can climb the mountain, and it is more relaxing to come for vacation🍃🍃🍃

Location is 5+ (30 mins from the airport, some malls are in walking distance), hotel is new and well maintained (surrouned by park and nice lake), rooms are clean, breakfast is fantastic (plenty of choice incl western food). Stuff is very helpful, special thanks to our butler Mr. Carl, who was always on-line and helped us to get around and ordered a taxi. Thank you, Oriental Resort Guangzhou team for a pleasant stay

I took my kids on vacation during the National Day holiday. I had to queue up to check in, but the service was very good. We were arranged to rest in the lobby while waiting for the room to check in. We were welcomed with tea and a parent-child cinema, and there were handmade paintings for children. The room facilities were also very new, and the price/performance ratio was good. I came for Baiyun Mountain and took advantage of the holiday to go out with my family. There is a self-service laundry room on the third floor. The swimming pool is very beautiful and the children like it 💕

What surprised us even more was that Manager Xie also prepared two breakfasts and welcome fruits for us, which made us feel the warmth and care of the hotel in advance. When we arrived at the door of the hotel, the duty manager was already waiting outside the door. He greeted us with a smile on his face and personally led us to the front desk. The front desk staff was proficient in business and enthusiastic, and our check-in procedures were handled very quickly. Manager Peng and Manager Liu in the lobby also carefully introduced the hotel's facilities and services to us, giving us a preliminary understanding of the hotel. After entering the room, we were immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the room. The room is warm and comfortable, the bed is clean and tidy, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, which makes people have a strong desire to fall asleep at a glance. The desks are clean and tidy, and the chairs are placed properly, providing convenient conditions for business office or study. The bathroom is spotlessly clean, with all toiletries, and the brand is high-quality and very comfortable to use. The hotel's takeaway delivery service also made us shine. When we wanted to order takeout, we found that the hotel had cute little robots that could deliver food to the room. This special service is not only convenient and fast, but also full of technology and fun, bringing us a brand new experience. Facilities: Complete facilities, the kitchen stove has a double-burner induction cooker, dishwasher, purified water, etc., bathroom highlights, automatic flush toilet, dry and wet separation, and reasonable space. Sanitation: Large tile floor, clean, linens and furniture are clean and bright, sofas are comfortable, especially the style of the lamp, which is very attentive. It can meet international standards. Environment: Wide view, distant mountains and nearby views, it is the B apartment building of Jinmao Tower, safe and quiet, downstairs is Jinmao Plaza, various brand stores, bus stops, and the subway station is 450 meters on the same side. Take an online car directly downstairs. Service: The boss handsome guy has caring service, upgraded the room, and relieved the fatigue of the 13-hour flight. The boss carefully understands the experience of staying and hopes to continuously improve. This is the most ideal and promising homestay I have ever stayed in. The biggest problem of domestic homestays is poor hygiene. Yashang provides disposable bath towels, dry and wet slippers, and the details are in place.

CONS: Staff's service level and professionalism is nowhere close to the level expected of a brand like Marriott. -During check in I explicitly confirmed with them that having 3 nights booked from one site then 1 night booked from another is fine and we can stay in the same room. After 3 nights they ended our stay, which resulted in a cleaning staff entering our room without permission. -I've seen rotating lifeguards in the swimming pool, but most of the time they're looking at their phones instead of paying attention to the guests swimming. We like staying Element Guangzhou Baiyun. The hotel’s environment was serene and clean and spacious. The staff has helped me to arrange an earlier check in (called earlier in the month to request for earlier check in), which we are grateful for. The bathroom was also spacious and fully equipped. The shower head was strong and good. We didn’t manage to visit the nearby shopping mall. Do hope to return one day and stay at the same hotel again. Good service and environment.

There’s also a good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Room: The room was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful view of the city skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows and linens felt luxurious—perfect after a long day of exploring Guangzhou. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary bottled water, coffee, and tea, which added to the overall experience. The bathroom was pristine, with a rain shower and high-quality toiletries. Service: Service was exceptional throughout my stay. The staff at the front desk was friendly, efficient, and always ready to help. They went out of their way to accommodate my requests, from arranging transportation to recommending local spots to visit. Housekeeping was thorough and respectful of my schedule, ensuring my room was always fresh and tidy without disturbing my work hours.
