Location is next to River Nagara where comorant fishing tour was held and within walking distance to Gifu Castle and the great Buddha of Gifu. Breakfast is good with many choices.

We opted for the standard Japanese style room with experience sleeping on the futons which was an experience. Onsen facilities were great and offered certain degree of privacy during winter season. Not much of the Nagawagara river view given its winter

Next time you come to Nagoya and want to soak in hot springs, you don't have to go to Gero only. This hot spring hotel by the Nagara River is also very good. It's only half an hour from Nagoya, the scenery is super good, the service is good, the trails beside are antique, and many special products and restaurants are very good. The hotel room is large, and the hot spring is great. The key is that the price-performance ratio is very high! ! A very satisfying stay! !

At the end of the year, I went on a business trip to Nagoya and gave myself a vacation, a hot spring trip. It is not easy to find a suitable hot spring near Nagoya. It should not be too far but the environment quality should not be reduced. By chance, I chose Gifu 18th Floor, considering the convenience of Nagoya. The old shop founded in the 7th year of Meiji is trustworthy. I like to stay in a hotel because of the traditional culture and exquisite service quality, and the food that is indispensable for the journey. 1 personal relationship Breakfast and dinner are included in the hotel. The dinner is too rich. I always feel that the amount is too much. But when I see the menu and food, I can't help but record it. Japanese Miss Wada, overseas Chinese Miss Risa, and a beautiful lady whose name I forgot, sorry, because I ordered a ~Nomi, which is better. Japanese sake is a little drunk^_^ Next time, I must bring my family to experience the 18th Floor together.

The hotel room is very big and is right next to the Nagara River. There are many hot springs, about eight or nine. The dinner was steak shabu-shabu, which was very good. The breakfast was a buffet. Highly recommended!

The room is a large tatami room, which the children like very much. The hot spring ends at 10 am, and the hotel's free drinks and free ice cream are too few in variety.

I was able to relax in the bath with a sense of history. It's in Gifu city, so it's easy to get to. It's a quiet inn with a beautiful view that you wouldn't expect in a city.

I randomly picked this hotel on the 18th floor that day. I booked it because the name was very special. I can say that this is the most satisfactory hotel in this trip to Japan.  First of all, the service is very good. The luggage will be picked up at the door and sent directly to your room. In addition, there are free drinks in the lobby, and you can sit there and drink them in the afternoon. Secondly, the hotel's hot spring is really great and there are very few people. The room and the hot spring are all Pola. In addition, the scenery is really great. Facing the river, you can see the sunset. The room is also very large and you can drink tea. I like to climb the mountain in the park near the hotel. It is really a very comfortable small city. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Gifu. 

I came to Gifu because I wanted to escape the urbanized Kansai and spend a quiet and relaxing time. When I travel to Japan, I always go to a hot spring once a day, so I chose the Chuhachiro Hotel. This ryokan with a long history is located right in front of the Nagara River, has great views, and a public bath with an open-air bath. Access from the station is a bit far, but 4 to 5 buses all depart from Gifu Station and stop a 4-minute walk from the hotel, and you can also rent a bicycle. There is also a festival called Ukai held on the Nagara River in May, so it is the best choice if it suits your purpose. Also, the rooms are very spacious and clean and the staff are very polite and friendly. This is excellent hospitality that is hard to find in any hotel. Breakfast is 2,200 yen as of the date of writing the review, and it is a buffet style with quite a variety of good desserts. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to stay in Gifu!
