The hotel is near Brignole Station, but I wouldn't recommend walking outside after dark.
The hotel itself is in a creepy building, and you must take the elevator (very small and very creepy) to the reception.
The room was nothing like the pictures. It was nice and smelled bad (not sure of what, I didn't want to find out).
I was only there for 6 hours, as I was travelling further for the weekend and then back to Genoa. I didn't/wouldn't go back to that hotel.

Outstanding

The location is very good and it is very convenient to go to the attractions. There is also a market next to it where you can buy food. The room is small but has a big balcony
The B&B has a leisure area with a swimming pool in a pedestrian street where every inch of land is valuable. This is probably the relaxation and romance that Italians are obsessed with.
Unlimited breakfast for 6 euros per person is great value.

Very Good

The room is very close to the station and in the center of Genoa. You can store your luggage for free. The front desk service attitude is very good, the breakfast is small and there is freshly made coffee. The only drawback is that the elevator room is a bit small. If you are not looking for the facilities and services of a star hotel, this hotel is a good choice.
