The location is good. There are many delicious food nearby. There are also two supermarkets. However, the parking fee is CHF 35, which is relatively expensive. The meter is 2.8 francs per hour and has a limit of 90 minutes. However, you can re-enter with no limit on the number of times. In the evening Free from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Breakfast is a buffet, and the 20 francs is not worth it because the fruits are not very fresh.

The room is 15 square meters. It is indeed not very spacious after putting down a large bed, but the basic facilities are available and relatively easy to use. But it is not very ”friendly” to Chinese people, because there is no kettle or any glass cups in the room. I had to borrow a kettle from a local colleague to drink hot water and tea. In recent years, many hotels in Europe have provided kettles. This is the first hotel I have encountered that does not provide kettles. It is recommended to provide them for the convenience of Chinese tourists. The quality of breakfast is pretty good, a typical white restaurant, with cold milk soaked in cereal (many kinds), hot eggs and sausages (salty), bread (variety), cheese (several kinds), fruits (usually bananas, etc.) every day Oranges and green apples. I ate strawberries on the last day (although they weren’t very tasty). I was full but a bit tired after eating them for more than ten days in a row. It is recommended that I try something different every day. In addition, there are no vegetables at all, including European hotels. Served tomato slices and cucumber slices. The hotel waiters are quite enthusiastic and will say hello every morning when they meet at breakfast. However, the professionalism of the people at the front desk is worrisome: On the day of check-in, I arrived at the room and took out my luggage. However, a gentleman said that the room was wrong and that the floor needed to be cleaned and that I needed to be moved to the 6th floor. I was a little confused. I was angry, but later I cooperated with the move. I felt that it was due to the lack of seriousness of their front desk staff. The night before check-out, I went to the front desk to ask if there were any procedures because I applied for an hour late check-out, and a black guy was on the computer. After some operations, it was confirmed that no other procedures were required. As a result, I returned to the hotel at 12:30 that day to go upstairs to pick up my luggage. I found that I couldn't get on the elevator at all, so I had to go to the front desk. The gentleman who asked me to change rooms on the day of check-in handled it skillfully. Then I could take the elevator back to my room normally. I think this is also the standard practice for late check-out in China. I wonder if the black guy took the job after training. On the day I checked in, I applied for a public transportation card in Geneva, but the white man asked his colleague to open a written card for me. I was surprised because the city of Geneva changed it to an electronic card a year ago. I don’t know why he still has it. I was able to open and write cards. After struggling for a while, I decided to change it to an electronic card. I asked for my email address and received it quickly. But it always makes me feel that their business is unskilled and brings some unnecessary trouble to the guests. In addition, this hotel is very close to the train station, a 3-minute walk away, and almost a 3-minute walk to the lake. The location is convenient. There are many restaurants downstairs next to it, which is convenient for eating. The street is noisy at night, but the sound insulation effect of the glass in the room is good. Once the window is closed, you can basically not hear the noise outside. There are several night clubs around, which are said to be the best in Wa City. The neighborhood feels different from the hotel I stayed in before.

The selling point of this hotel is its location, which is located near the Central Train Station. However, there is no refrigerator in the room, and no provision of slippers and toothbrush. Overall, it has been a decent stay for me.

The hotel is beautifully designed, with a terrace, very ample space, a lift for easy movement of luggage, convenient location, only 3 minutes walk to the big train station, toilet facilities, very clean
The bed was comfortable and I slept well
Just when taking a shower, easy to splash water, but only a minor problem!
There will be noise at 7am, probably because there is a lift right next to it
If you want to sleep later and not leave early, please be careful not to live next to the lift!
There were staff outside at 8am that day using electric drills to do the work, but I only stayed for one day and got up early to leave, so okay!
Generally liked this hotel, satisfied! The price is reasonable

Perfect location, only a 5-minute walk from the train station. It is simple to get around Geneva by walking, tram, bus, and shuttle boat from the hotel. The room is clean and tidy. The staff is nice and helpful. Just one thing could be better. The room's sound insulation is inadequate. We heard noises coming from adjacent rooms or the street. Our room is on the second level, right near to the street. The noise from the street sweeping woke us up every morning around 6 a.m. I believe another side room would be better. We didn't request a room change because we were just staying for a very short time.

#Praise# for the room lighting, toiletries, bedding comfort, cost-effective, security, room size satisfaction; the decoration of the hotel is not bad, clean, location is not far from the city center Kornawan Railway Station and the MANO supermarket. Breakfast is OK, Western breakfast is actually similar. The single room is actually very large, with two single beds or a double bed. There is no problem with living for two people, I really don't understand why it is counted as a single room. The price is very cost-effective, that is, the room key is a bit heavy, I have a front desk. The hotel has a paid parking space of 25 Swiss francs per day and needs to make an appointment. Email him the day before check-in to ask for a free bus ticket, he will send you an electronic ticket, which can be stored in the mobile phone or printed out. Free tram bus or ferry in the city during your stay.
With an ideal downtown location 5 minutes' walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the old town, our hotel's 64 modern and practical rooms have upscale bedding, air cooling system and high-speed WiFi. From the moment you step inside our hotel, you'll love the newly refurbished lobby and warm, laid-back setting with an original, self-service check-in. Can't wait to see you!

Environment: The environment did not meet expectations, and the room was very small
Sanitation: The sanitation environment was OK, but overall it did not meet expectations, which was in contrast to the room price
Facilities: There were almost no facilities, and slippers, toothbrushes, etc. were charged separately

Very Good
MMGood location near the airport, public transport and coop supermarket within walking distance. Free shuttle bus service every 20min to/fro airport. Amenities wise and breakfast are no frills and simple. Staff is helpful and contactable via the trip.com call function - which is very helpful.
GGuest UserWe liked most of the hotel. The pricing was reasonable and it was in a nice and quiet area in Geneva. We found the beds to be comfy and felt the shower was excellent with a couple of different settings to get some good pressure. We had two twin beds and the room had enough furnishings in it to enjoy but it is just a place to sleep. The room ran a bit warm for us in late October but having the window open helped.
They have a very good breakfast with a good variety of items like Swiss cheese, bacon, cured meats, breads and some good pastries. Coffee, tea and juice is also included and they have a few dispensers in the dining area. Hot water is available here in case you want to make a hot drink and bring it back to your room.
When we visited this hotel there was an internet outage in Vernier so there was no wifi available at the hotel for the duration of our stay and our cellular was blocked. The parking garage was also doing some painting so it was tricky to figure out the parking situation and getting into the parkade because there was no signage. We had issues with the front desk because the staff did not inform us of these known issues while we were checking in and we found it somewhat frustrating but when we inquired about these issues at the front desk the staff that I spoke to was rude, argumentative and condescending while the one lady insisted that they told us during check in but we were simply providing feedback that they did not. We had booked a twin room and a double room for our family but the rooms were mixed around and we didn't figure it out until the next morning and just thought it was what it was.
My wife and I could not help but notice that the staff in the breakfast area only asked people of colour for their breakfast card. Each time we went up to grab something they were asking someone of colour for their card to prove they were ok to dine in the breakfast area and it happened so frequently that it did not seem to be a coincidence. Staff could improve by asking everyone or simply having a front desk before the dining area where people could check in so they do not have to weirdly single people out.
I believe the hotel was charging a 25 CHF fee per day for parking because it is a third party that operates the parkade. They did advise us that we could choose to pay this fee or pay at the machine in the parkade. When we asked about the costs of the parkade the front desk staff nor the parking operator could advise us what the overnight fees would be but someone later shared that we could check the machine when we go to check out and we found a payment schedule and only had to pay 15 CHF overnight. I have attached the payment schedule to this review.
There is not much near this hotel but we felt it was a convenient overnight stay as we drove around Switzerland. We enjoyed some aspects of the hotel but there are definitely some opportunities to improve.
AAnonymous UserThe curtains have been broken for a long time, I wanted to change the room, but told me that the other room was the same. Other than that, it's pretty good
DDavid huangThe price/performance ratio is not high. It’s nearly a thousand yuan a night, but it’s probably a reasonable but good place in Switzerland. It’s close to the airport, but I didn’t know there was an airport shuttle bus. I dragged my suitcase and walked for fifteen minutes. The room is very small and the worst thing is The sink was not draining. After cleaning in the morning, the water was cleaned, but the broken basin was not repaired. It was really puzzling. The breakfast was ordinary, but it was not worthy of the price of 1,000 a night. I would not consider it next time unless I had no choice, but the front desk service was still there. Very kind
GGuest UserThe reception is so friendly and helpful, she tells us too many things about transportation of Geneva. Also, the reception allow us check in earlier. Very good experience.
GGuest UserExcellent location for the Geneva stadium with a shopping mall next to the hotel with restaurants, supermarket and cinema/bowling alley. Great transport links to airport directly by bus within 35-40 min and into the centre.
Staff- friendly and efficient.
Toiletries provided but no lotion available.
Rooms clean and large enough.
Beds and pillows comfortable. Universal plug sockets and usb charging available in the room.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is great and brand new with sauna, swimming pool and gym. My checking in staff was very friendly and helpful but there was one day our room wasn’t made even tho we hung the tag in front and spoke to the cleaning lady. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional, not like the lady on the first day. It was only flaw for this hotel throughout my 4Nights stay.
MMCMC_Mr. Mohd Shamsul IzuanThe hotel is very beautiful!
All service are okay except the cafe did not allow you to have half boiled egg. They only serve whatever on the counter and the old lady server did not accept when i requested for half boiled egg. The young lady server is very good.
Despite full marks on overall service and experience, i wont coming back because of the unhappy breakfast days. The old lady server ruined my morning mood.
小小皇帝 wxqThe location of the hotel is very good, it is easy to find diagonally across the railway station (but you have to imagine the hotel a bit smaller, not as big as the picture is so magnificent) within walking distance to the railway station, there are many restaurants and small supermarkets are also very convenient to purchase because The transportation in Switzerland is very convenient. Basically, all trips can be made by public transportation. When you check in in Geneva, everyone will give you a transportation ticket. During the stay, you can get on the bus directly. No one can check the ticket.
The front desk inside the hotel is more enthusiastic. The European hotel payment process is fairly simple. There is no such thing as a deposit. I set it on the top floor. The room is neat and clean as shown in the picture. The toilet is very big in Europe, but the beams of the house are more dangerous and easier to knock.
Overall, the hotel is more suitable as a choice
KKamalathaI went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received.
I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing.
