Hotels near Fukuoka Castle Ruins, Fukuoka

I think the environment and atmosphere of this hostel is very nice. The bed is comfortable enough to sleep and the shared space is very clean when enquieped with heater and microwaves. Also the self service of check in and out is very convenient for me. I would come again.

Super friendly and helpful staff! The location was brilliant, it only took around 25 minutes to get to the airport, as well as walking distance to a lot of the main central sites to see in Fukuoka. Shower room was clean and well equipped and the sleeping pod was also clean and very comfortable. The most amount of space I’ve had to myself in a hostel I think. The included breakfast was basic but I think it’s enough for what you’re paying. There was coffee/tea, bread, jam, yoghurt, granola and a couple of baked goods. See my picture for what I had (it filled me up for the morning, so no complaints from me). Only negative for me was the sound the door to the room makes when locking/unlocking. Obviously in a hostel you can expect a bit of noise and people coming/going throughout the night, but I had the pod closest to the door and the sound of it closing, locking and unlocking was extremely loud. There’s nothing the guests can do to minimise this, even if you close it softly. The automatic lock is so loud. This might only be an issue if you’re close to the door but be prepared, it’s quite an infuriating sound and I could unfortunately hear it through my headphones. All in all, I still enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again! Would just maybe request a pod further from the door☺️

Great for the price! The staff was very friendly and even carried our luggage to our room while we were away during check-in hours. The room isn't huge but has everything you need. Everything is a bit old but in great condition and clean. Location was perfect

the hotel location is super super convenient, right next to the mtr akasaka station 1 minute walk. specially in fukuoka it made everything easy. room was consider roomy compared to the others and the bathroom is very nice too. Surrounding the hotel many restaurants and convenient stores so you can get walk you need within walking distance. however i found that the hotel staffs are kinda cold when they speak to the hotel guest (like robot). they just read you the rule and any request you made you will be like talking to the wall. they will tell you NO and read you the hotel policy. not so friendly to overseas guest in my opinion given that i spoke and ask them politely. i will book this hotel again for the location only but not for the hospitality.

good room for the price/length of stay for solo traveling but noticable dust on vents and such. Customer service was top notch and lots of amenities provided.

It is quite primitive and somewhat old. But it is nicely maintained. What I don't like is the AC system is central control - you cannot adjust. It cannot be cool off quickly. They only make up the room under your request, and the request has to be made prior to 10 PM. If you are not aware of this, they just leave your room unclean. You's better off speaking Japanese proficiently enough so you'll get the service.

I didn’t know that half a double room is an official category. Well you get what you pay for. The hotel is old but clean and only a little run down. No English spoken and we had better mattresses before. Nevertheless location is good and we stayed three nights.

Clean and big hotel room. Our family of 5 stayed in a spacious room with 3 large double beds. We can easily open our 3 large suitcases with plenty of space to walk around. Friendly and professional staff. Easy to park downstairs and convenient to retrieve the car. It’s automatic parking, you just drive the car into the elevator with assistance from a staff and it’ll park for you. There’s a Lawson right across from the hotel. Coin laundry with 5 washers and 5 dryers on the 3/F. There’s also an onsen for hotel guests on the 3/F.

Clean hotel which is very convenient. It is just a few minutes away from the train station, and there is a bus stop just outside the hotel that goes along Watanabe Dori street.
