I chose the newly opened Baxi Hotel for my business trip to Shunde this year. As a long-time Ctrip user, my stay at Baxi far exceeded my expectations, so I decided to write a review for everyone's reference. On the day of arrival, the front desk staff helped me retrieve my luggage from the car right at the entrance. Check-in was very quick, and they proactively informed me about the dedicated elevator, breakfast times, and parking location. My first impression upon entering the room was how clean and comfortable it was. There was also a faint, pleasant scent in the room. The bedding was fluffy and soft, and the mattress was just right in terms of firmness (I specifically checked, and it was a branded deep-sleep mattress), so even those with back issues would sleep well. After a busy day, lying down felt completely relaxing. The room's soundproofing was excellent; I noticed they had added soundproofing strips, so I could barely hear any noise from the corridor or adjacent rooms, ensuring a very peaceful night's rest. I especially want to commend the water pressure at this hotel. The hot water flow was strong and consistent in temperature. The rain showerhead felt like a massage on my body while showering, and the Laifen hairdryer was so comfortable to use that it's now on my wishlist! The river view room offered expansive views from the window, high up, overlooking the Desheng River. The next morning, I enjoyed breakfast. The variety was extensive, with hot dishes, pastries, coffee, and fruit all well-stocked, and the taste was definitely on point. Midway through, I requested an extra set of toiletries, and the butler delivered them very quickly after I called the front desk – very responsive. I must mention the unique features of this hotel that set it apart from others. Besides a hidden gem Zen cultural hall, there's also a tea culture hall. The highly-rated Dejingxuan restaurant, a 'must-eat' spot, is on the fourth floor, offering river views and delicious food, all just an elevator ride away for relaxation. To the left of the hotel entrance is the popular Fisherman's Wharf. This saved me time on planning and travel, which was perfect for someone with a tight schedule like me. Overall, the service, hardware, amenities, and cleanliness perfectly matched the price. It's my top choice for business travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend it to all my friends!

Choosing Hilton was definitely the right decision. The security guard at the entrance was very polite when we parked, and the front desk staff was friendly and patient. Initially, there was a small issue during check-in where I got a bit upset about the room and complained. Manager Ryssin understood the situation and patiently provided a reasonable explanation, which immediately calmed me down, and he quickly helped resolve the problem. I have to give a thumbs-up 👍🏻. This kind of attitude and service made me feel very comfortable, and that's what matters, especially since the outcome left me very satisfied. The room was spacious, clean, and had a great view. It's very close to Fisherman's Wharf, and there's a mall right next to it, making dining very convenient. During my stay, Manager Ryssin also checked in with me to see how things were going and offered his help if I needed anything. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time; they truly delivered on emotional value.

This time, I stayed at Atour Hotel near Shunde's Fisherman's Wharf. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk to the wharf. The room was spacious and bright, and the hygiene was excellent. The river view from the room was also very pleasant. The hotel offers both above-ground and underground parking, which is great for those traveling by car!

This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped. The room had a separate wet and dry area, the WiFi was stable, and the overall setup was very thoughtful. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the zero-pressure memory foam pillow was a definite plus. Free parking is available, and there's even charging for electric vehicles, with a full range of self-service facilities. It's close to nearby attractions, making it convenient for getting around and dining. The service was attentive and polite, and overall, it offers great value for money. Highly recommended!

Came to Shunde for the food and this place's location is absolutely perfect, right next to Fisherman's Wharf. It was super convenient for evening strolls and late-night snacks. As always, Meihau's service is reliably excellent, and the stay was very welcoming. The facilities are also well-maintained. For this price range, both the hardware and soft services are very competitive. Especially for foodies, the location is a big bonus. I'll definitely consider staying here first on my next visit.

I really like this kind of old-fashioned hotel. It's decent and straightforward. I'm not a fan of modern hotels where the bathrooms have transparent glass, especially when traveling with kids. Even though this hotel is old-fashioned, everything inside is pretty good. For example, the hairdryer isn't old-fashioned at all. Anyway, for family trips with children, choosing an old-fashioned hotel like this is always a good bet!

One issue was that the hotel was quite old, especially the hairdryer, which was an older model with weak airflow; it took a long time to dry long hair. Another issue was that there were small cockroaches in the bathroom, which we killed.

This hotel, newly opened in 2026, boasts excellent overall facilities. We booked a twin room with two 1.5m double beds, which were spacious and comfortable. The room itself was roomy, well-decorated, and free of any strange odors, making it very comfortable for our group including seniors and children. The parking lot had limited spaces, but the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and assisted us in finding a spot. There were just a few minor details that could be improved: After upgrading through Trip.com, our room was supposed to include 4 breakfasts per day (originally 2 per room). However, there was a disconnect between the front desk and the breakfast restaurant, so we had to repeatedly explain the situation to the restaurant staff every morning. Also, the room lacked face towels and a towel basket, which meant used towels had to be placed on the floor, which was a bit inconvenient. Aside from these minor drawbacks, the overall stay was great, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shunde.

I visited Shunde, the culinary capital. I chose this hotel. It's new, well-equipped, quiet, comfortable, and the service is excellent. The front desk staff was especially welcoming, and they even gave me a small gift upon check-in. I highly recommend it! It has a swimming pool, a children's pool, and a massage/spa. It's truly comfortable. Transportation is also very convenient, just 1 km from the Ronggui Intercity Railway.
