Hotels in Shunde Center, Foshan

Very comfy environment with helpful staffs. Enjoyed staying in this hotel this time very much. Will also book this book next time arriving Shunde.

On a last-minute trip to Shunde to meet friends, I chose Atour Shunde Fisherman's Wharf for its convenient location near our meeting spot. Check-in was seamless, and the welcoming staff were excellent. When it unexpectedly rained one evening, I went to borrow an umbrella from the front desk, and they impressively knew our room number right away. The next day, I requested a late check-out due to travel plans, and they handled it very efficiently. These small details truly showcased the front desk team's professionalism and excellent training. Many thanks to them! Turning to the room, it offered a stunning river view, comfortable bedding, new furnishings, and a shower with great water pressure and consistent temperature. The location is fantastic; within a 20-minute walk, you can reach Xinjiu Road, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Diesel Engine Plant. I haven't stayed at Atour hotels much in the past, but it will definitely be my top choice for future trips. The option for late check-out until 2:00 PM (subject to availability) was also a fantastic convenience.

I booked this room for one night  Overall I am pretty happy with the hotel Let’s start with the good stuff: 1. Wide variety of breakfasts that is decent 2. View from the dining area is amazing 3. Room is clean and new and comes with quality bedding in the room.  4. Comes with free drinks in the fridges 5. Very friendly receptionist and staff working at dining area double thumbs up!! 6. Free parking 7. Sound proofing is good.  Improvement point 1. No charging point for EV yet  2. None actually.

Excellent value for money as long as your expectation is managed. The hotel is a bit old but place is kept clean and tidy. The housekeeping robot delivering essential item such as toiletries etc is a nice touch. The Executive Lounge is closed which is a shame as we stay on this top floor and would have appreciated breakfast with a view! Instead I would suggest skip the hotel breakfast and go to explore with local eateries. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel is an excellent venue for local cuisine!

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. It's quite new and the service was excellent. The room size was adequate, though there wasn't a bathtub. Both the bathroom and hallways were quite spacious. With electronic curtains and smart services, it's very appealing to younger guests. The lobby and the 20th-floor bar also boast a very modern and fresh design. There's an indoor swimming pool and a gym, though the gym is a little on the small side. Breakfast was quite substantial, and parking was convenient. The nearby Rongqi area offers numerous dining options, including many authentic local restaurants. Overall, it's an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. The front desk staff member was very friendly. The hotel maintains strict management, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment, which makes it a popular choice for families and couples on summer vacations. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, which I personally really appreciate. Highly recommended!

Let me start with the conclusion: I guess this place was once a glittering hub in the '90s. Junhao, Junwang, Dihao, Pohao... Guys, this might be a good place for retro Hong Kong style photos, haha. If you like the old-money vibe of that era, this apartment is quite affordable. What I appreciate most is that it even has newspapers!! I just love that old-fashioned vibe, haha. I booked a room with what seems to be a 270-degree city view and some river view (the river water is a bit yellowish; it's still used for freight, so cargo ships pass by every now and then!!). The room is quite spacious, considering it's a suite. The equipment is definitely old, but thankfully it's been well maintained, so there's no odor or dirt. They've taken great care of that aspect. The design is a bit ridiculous, though. The bathroom faces the bed, almost right in front of it, and the ceiling molding presses down on the headboard (those who get it will understand!)! The air conditioner blows right at my head, so I had to turn off the AC in the bedroom and use the AC in the living area. The city view outside the window... The street view was average, and the windows needed a bit of cleaning. Since I was just out and about, and in a good mood, I didn't think it was a big deal. The TV in the room was responsive enough, and the wifi was OK. Breakfast was on the second floor... plentiful. For a four-star, established hotel, that's about right. The service was very friendly. Even if I didn't make a purchase, and even after hours, I could get hot water from the restaurant on the first floor without any problems. The problem is, everyone speaks Cantonese, which is not easy. The elevator public area was a classic example of that era, a kind of foreign-related sauna accommodation, with Chinese, English, and Korean language services. The worst thing about this hotel is the parking! The entrance to the underground garage is so awkward that even experienced drivers would be turned away (unless you're driving a hot hatch). I drove a rather large SUV that day, and it was one of the most ridiculous entrances I've encountered in all my driving. Parking outside the hotel's first-floor entrance is ideal; street parking is generally out of the question. So, if you're driving and aren't a good driver, you should ask the security guard first (don't expect them to tell you in the lobby; they'll just tell you; tell the security guard outside). There's a Zhuroupo Shunde restaurant nearby. Hmm... if you have a lot of spare cash and don't want to travel too much, it's still manageable. But... as a Guangdong native, the tea and water prices are so high, and then there's the added service charge... it's truly record-breaking. Elsewhere, I'd easily have ordered two or three more dishes. It's supposedly close to Fisherman's Wharf, but it's so popular and Instagram-worthy that I'm not really interested. Maofeng Mountain Park and Happy Coast PLUS are worth a visit; they're bigger and better than I expected. It's a bit of a drive from the hotel, so it's manageable.

The AC was problematic; both heating and cooling functions were subpar. The toilet didn't flush properly, and after flushing, the water refilled intermittently with a sputtering noise. On the upside, the free gym was a plus, and the laundry room with dryers was also good. Service was decent too. Elevator access required a room card to reach your floor, which enhanced security. There's no real need to opt for a city view room; it's nothing particularly special.

First stay in this area. I made a reservation after receiving a recommendation. Amenities and shopping around the hostel. Although there is no restaurant, the hotel itself is very clean, so it is a good option for foreigners to visit. It's great for lodging purposes, but it's a shame that it's not enough to enjoy the trip.

The hotel opened last year, and the facilities are relatively new, which is why we chose it. There was construction on the opposite road, so we went back to the hotel to take a shower and rest, and spent most of our time outside looking at the scenery, so the messy environment around it did not affect me much. The hotel is located in the suburbs, which is very suitable for self-driving. It takes 20 minutes to drive anywhere, which is acceptable.

Originally, I was going out with the dog, so I searched for a homestay that ”can bring pets” to find this homestay. The location is really very good, the Fisherman's Wharf is out, and I eat a lot. Guangmingding sauna chicken, rewarding that year, Minxin/Renxin double skin milk... The price is also very good. The boss is very nice and recommended a lot of delicious food. Fisherman's Wharf may be mainly to play ”photographs”. All kinds of graffiti form a special scenic line. There are photographers with pads on their backs, hands-on SLRs, and those balloons have also become hot-selling photo props. Very suitable for young people or friends who love to take pictures to play together, eat and drink, walk around and pat, laugh and laugh...😊
