Recently renovated of course but:
- entrance to the hotel which does not tempt you,
- room not neat (basic renovations)
- small bathroom
- TV with only 1 channel and still when it works,
- no curtain so you have to keep the blind closed!,
- industrial breakfast with little variety,
- location not bad but the location in the evening is somewhat strange…
Good points :
- well placed for visits and next to the station,
- kind and smiling staff,
- life on the roofs and on the Duomo of the breakfast room,
- Hotel secured by badge at the entrance.

The entire hotel smells like rags..... Thanks to you, I caught a cold. It was so narrow that I couldn't really open my suitcase, but the location is really the best.... The breakfast was okay. The breakfast I ate while looking at the same color roof scenery of Florence was not envious of any other cafe.

The location is not bad, just out of the train station. The cleanliness of the room is okay, but the drain pipe in the shower is blocked, and the feet are soaked in the water during the whole bath. The quilt is also very thin, and the air conditioner does not have a remote control, so it is still a bit cold. Changed to another hotel the next day.

Excellent value for money but to be honest nowadays you expect a little more... walls to be refreshed, malfunctioning air conditioning, toilet paper holder knocked off the wall and stuff like that. It would take very little to make the structure much more welcoming. For the rest, the location is really excellent as is the breakfast: plentiful and with good service. I would recommend it for short stays in the city centre.

The hotel is fine for the price it has, it doesn't stand out at all, it's close to the station in somewhat conflicting streets. The breakfast that is included is quite poor and does not have much variety. The room is cozy but what bothered me the most was the smell of the pipes in the bathroom, it smells very bad and if you leave the door open the smell reaches the room, being very uncomfortable, in general an ordinary hotel to stay for a couple of days.

I stayed here with my daughters and had a very bad experience. The room for four people was so small we couldn’t even open our suitcases. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room even after several hours. The furniture was in terrible condition, everything was dirty, there was a strong bad smell, and the bathroom had visible mold. It was simply not a place we could stay in. The staff was friendly and did try to help by moving us to another room, but sadly, the second room was just as bad or worse. They made an effort, but the hotel overall is in very poor condition. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel that same night. This place looks nothing like the photos, and I don’t understand how it has good reviews. The only positives: the staff was nice, and the area felt safe. But unfortunately, that’s not enough to make up for everything else. Do not recommend.

Stop now and look elsewhere. Pictures are bogus. One step above a "dive". Nothing but apologies...oof and on water due to maintenance.. poor AC, takes awhile...no internet, sorry.no room for any chair...flies in the hallway...poor noise control...couldn't check out, no staff on-site
