Palazzo Mannaioni Suites

Cleanliness and Space: Rooms and apartments are consistently described as clean, modern, spacious, and well-maintained, providing ample space for guests to unpack and relax comfortably.

Firstly, if you are going to Florence when the weather is good then seriously consider one of their apartments with a terrace. We spent a lot of time on the terrace, had breakfast out there, enjoyed a drink out there and generally soaked up the sun and the view (they supply a little table and a couple of chairs). The view is fantastic (overlooking the Spirito Santo tower and some lovely gardens). Also, it is on the top floor (accessible by lift), so there isn’t anyone above you – in fact I don’t think we heard any noise from our neighbours, and the noise from the street was only the regular Saturday night buzz one would expect when staying in the middle of a city The apartments were clean and functional, and the wi-fi was pretty good. The beds were uber-comfy, and the aircon was most welcome. Although you wouldn’t want to cook a 3-course meal in the kitchen, it was perfectly capable of producing a full breakfast, or a pasta dish when required. The microwave also acts as a grill, worth bearing in mind as there is no toaster. There is a Conad mini-market just a street away from the apartment, and that should be able to keep you in supplies whilst you are staying there. The bathroom is modern and spacious, and although we expected the shower to be tiny (based on a previous review) it was a regular size, as used throughout Europe… The people at reception were very helpful and check-in was smooth enough. It is quite nice to know that reception is there should you have any issues (not that we needed them at all, tbh). Location is pretty good – there are some good eateries in Piazza Spirito Santo, and it is a perfect location to kick back and while away the afternoon. You are only a few minutes’ walk from the middle of Florence, but it is quite nice to be on the “south-side”, as things are a little less crowded, and it feels a little bit more relaxing. If you want the apartment experience without the hassle that comes with it, then I think the Palazzo Mannaioni Suites is the way forward……….
