I was expecting the hotel to be what it is because most of the hotels in Firenze and other old historic cities in Italy rely on the old historic buildings for hotels. This one had the luxury of a lift (elevator)...😃 Up to the 3rd floor (where the reception was located. 🫠Then, I had to carry my luggage to 2 sets of narrow stairs to my room. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of bread, cheese, ham, drinks, and hot dishes. The reception staff (manager) was very welcoming, friendly, and provided useful information for a 1-day visit of the city. The room was relatively big for Firenze standards, with 1 queen and 3 single beds (room that was available).Beds were clean and comfortable, Bathroom was small but eater and drains working, which I was happy too. Price is expensive for what you get, because that is the way it is in Firenze and other cities in Italy. It was very conveniently located, 400m of the station, the main reason why I booked it. Overall, not bad.
