Stella d'Italia

We stayed at Stella D’Italia in early June, for a birthday celebration. After extensive research, we chose Stella D'Italia—and we couldn’t have been happier! The hotel is located in Florence’s shopping and restaurant district. There were many great wine bars, cocktail bars and trattorias within walking distance. There is also easy access to the Santo Spirito neighborhood as well. We also took a bus trip to Fiesole for a day trip (highly suggest for the ruins). Our room was spacious and stylish and came with a terrace where we had wine in the evenings. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! Many choices to choose from (don't miss their excellent cappuccinos)! Thank you to the friendly kitchen team who made breakfast something to look forward to! The birthday cake they prepared me was decadent and delicious! Don't forget to visit the rooftop for drinks and nice Florence views. Stella D’Italia had everything, great service, ideal location, and excellent staff. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend to anyone visiting Florence. Thank you to everyone at Stella D'Italia for making my birthday in Florence one I will not soon forget!

I was visiting Florence for 4 days and was looking for a moderately priced hotel that didn’t feel old or cramped — and this place was a gem! Felt like a converted apartment building in a good way. The room was spacious, clean, and had a quirky but fun design. The only surprise was the rooms have physical keys to open and lock which was interesting but less annoying than I thought it would be, but something to note. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Its central location made it a perfect home base for exploring the city. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something comfortable, well-located, and a little different from the typical hotel experience.

Stylish and very comfortable hotel in old palazzo with good breakfast, attentive staff, and wonderful vibe. We had a nicely decorated room with a private area to sit outside and excellent bathroom. The roof terrace is perfect for drinks in the evening. It is perfectly positioned for a few days exploring Florence. We will be back.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and had a great experience. Room was great, a funky hotel, breakfast and cappuccinos in the morning, roof top bar to enjoy a drink. Location was perfect, quieter at night, swanky shopping all around, close to walk to all attractions. We went across the river for multiple dinners and shopping. The staff were great, very helpful. I highly recommend the hotel and staff and would stay here again.
