Relatively basic room that was "kinda" clean. The location is nice ...right on the river but a little away from the action so it's nice and quiet. Cleanliness was so so

Its clean and in good location and the staff were nice people. I would rate this hotel 5 stars. However our room was supposed to have a river view but during check in they told us that our room doesn’t and it wasn’t a big deal for us.

It can be a little difficult to find as the "main road" is the pedestrian road just beside the river and the sign with hotel name and road number is on the side facing the river. For travellers new to the town, that's almost counter-intuitive. But the location is great and the balcony facing the river has good view. It's not on the most popular bridge area, but that means it's not too noisy.

The place is so good,strategic and easy access to the accient town. They hotel staff doesnt clean or give new towel every morning.

A bit run down, For the price, we cannot complain. No lifts available. Great balcony view of the river.

This hotel is located in the beautiful Fenghuang village, close to the sights that you want to see as a tourist. It’s a bit hard to find in the beginning, because it’s hidden behind a massage salon. From the hotel you have to walk about 15-20 minutes to be be in the middle of the ancient village area — the area where the most beautiful buildings are. The rooms were okay, but could have been a bit cleaner generally. They are well equipped with hair drier, towels and single use toiletries. The staff is friendly and helpful.

1. Many of the furniture in B&Bs renovated from old houses are relatively old. 2. Because it is close to the river, the roll paper and bathroom ceiling are moldy, and the mattress and quilt are relatively damp. 3. Close the sliding door tightly after turning on the lights at night, otherwise there will be many mosquitoes. 4. There is no free bottled water in the room. It is the only hotel that does not have it when I travel these days. 5. There are spider webs on the balcony railings. Merchants should clean them up.

The room is relatively simple, just like a private house with a relatively ordinary decoration style, but the hygiene is very good! Moreover, it is relatively quiet on the upstream riverside. You can drink tea and eat on the balcony. The wind blowing by the river feels very good. If you want to experience the Phoenix River View Room without spending too much money, it is really good!

The inn is located in the ancient town, and you can see the scenery of Tuojiang River from the balcony. On the first day of the new year, my family stayed in a 3-person room. The 1.2-meter bed was a bit narrow and leaked air when lying on the side. The air conditioner was on all night, and I only took off my coat and slept in socks and clothes, but it was still cold. When I woke up the next morning, the car outside was frozen.

The room has a balcony, from which you can see the scenery of the ancient city. There is a river below. An elderly couple is in charge of the store. They are very friendly and it is very convenient to visit scenic spots. Because it is upstream, it is very quiet at night. It is very close to the maglev train station. I take this train in and out of the ancient city. It is 29 yuan for a single trip and 39 yuan for a round trip. It is very cost-effective and the time is fast. You can go directly to the high-speed rail station after getting off the train.
