I had a very good stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and the room was perfect. The view over the heart of Fenghuang is a real highlight. I recommend this hotel!

Service: was really good. The receptionist lady gave us a lot of helpful information and was constantly available. I was really grateful for the service. Our rooms were cleaned daily, we got fresh water and towels. She also helped us get a ride to the train station, as there are limited drivers in this area (plan your departure ahead of time). Room: the room has an amazing view. We enjoyed the balcony so much that we spent a lot of time there just taking in the scenery and enjoying ourselves. At night it looked even better. We visited during peak season (international workers holiday) and still the room was relatively quiet at night. Everything was exceptionally clean. The rain shower was appreciated as well. We also got vanity kits and so on. The bathroom is a little small for people over 190 cm (you should be fine if you are shorter). The bed was comfortable and big. The only thing we missed was a Minibar (or fridge). The TV unfortunately wasn't a smart TV. Location: the hotel is located in the central city. You won't miss a thing. There are restaurants nearby and all sorts of scenic spots. If you go outside, turn left and walk until the end of the street you'll even find a shop offering coffee ☕ (which is quite rare).

The service is great, the lady helped us with transfer and was very kind. The room is very beautiful and spacious, there was a whole room for our child. The view is on the river and has comfortable chairs on the balcony. We loved staying here!

Located in a small alley, you’ll need to walk down some steps to get to this alley from 豹子灣 (Baoziwan Jetty). The hotel is in the quiet corner of FengHuang Old Town, the popular nightspots and pubs on the other end of the river. Our room is on the 4th floor (entrance and reception are located on the 2nd floor, bizarre) overlooking the river, giving magnificent views during the entire stay. Room is small, but comes equipped with a powerful air conditioning. Bathroom is a bit tricky as it is a step up, and the drainage is not very efficient, if you have the shower running for some time, there’s risk of water overflowing into the room.

It's a lovely family run style of hostel, like a BnB in the UK. Great location by the tuojiang river 坨江, but at the not too noise part, so we could sit by the balcony to experience the buzzing of the night street life and the tranquillity of the morning without any tour group. Lovely and friendly hotel staff made our stay feel so welcoming.

Don't get misled by the "hostel" in the name, that's simply incorrect translation – this is a proper hotel with all the amenities you would expect from one. Our room had an incredible view of the old town over the river and it was clean and comfortable. The only things we can mention on the negative side are the not properly cleaned toilet seat upon check-in and the finicky shower with randomly changing water temperature. All in all excellent value for money in Fenghuanggucheng!

Lady boss came to pick us up at the entrance to Fenghuang Scenic Area. She feel offered to help carried one of our luggage. The hotel is located about 500m away from the main attraction. Room is located beside the river and the view from the balcony was really breathtaking. Room was clean and amenities was full. Opposite hotel (opposite the river) has a pub and you can hear the songs from your balcony. But all the music and songs will be off after 11.30pm. Overall, would come back to this hotel again.

Apartment is too small and the toilet flushing is not working properly. Proper amenities are lacking and no breakfast provided.

Pros: Beautiful view, especially at night. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is good. Cons: Lots of mosquitoes, and the hotel didn’t provide any repellent. During the day it was also quite noisy (at night was quite) — my room was next to the reception, and guests often shouted.
