The room was quite cozy and comfortable. There’s no elevator but I got the room on the first floor so it’s all good. The hotel is in the alley on the side of the river. So it’s easy to walk around the small shops and get to the main photo spots by the river. The host is also very friendly.

A good hotel. It is located in the very center of the historical part of Fenghuang, but not on the embankment itself, and this is a plus, because there is less noise from tourists. The hotel has an amazing hostess, very responsive. I asked her to call me a taxi to the train station, because I do not have a Chinese phone number and I do not speak Chinese. So she walked me to the road, dragged my heavy suitcase and stopped a taxi for me. Many thanks to her for this 🙏💕. The room is good, clean, large. Sloping ceiling, it was a little unusual, I hit it a couple of times. The room is quiet. There is a window on the ceiling that can be closed with a curtain. There is also a window into the corridor, which is also closed with a curtain, but a little light comes from the corridor into the room. I liked living here, next time I come to Fenghuang I will definitely stay here.

The B&B is located in the middle reaches of Tuojiang River. You can walk through a small alley to the riverside. It is very convenient to go to the bar street. It is very quiet to sleep at night. The service of the B&B is good and very humane. When we went there, they came to pick us up at Kouzi, and the front desk lady helped us find a rental when we were leaving. The bed was also comfortable to sleep on.
