Although the room is small, it is compact, clean, and has good service. The hotel's dinner is delicious, but the price is expensive. The hotel is located in the downtown area, and there is a place to check in when you go out. I will stay there next time.

We didn't experience the issue of Chinese residents being given lower-floor rooms as mentioned in the reviews. We didn't request anything, and the front desk immediately gave us a room on the 7th floor, right next to a terrace. The view was indeed nice. When we left the train station, we took the fastest route, but it had a lot of stairs. After careful research, we realized it would be much easier to take the main road instead. The hotel staff were very welcoming, and the breakfast was both à la carte and buffet-style. It's a very nice hotel.

This hotel is fantastic! Located in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, it's within easy walking distance of everything. The Old and New Elephant Café, just outside the door, is a must-see for Harry Potter fans. There's also a Chinese restaurant, which will delight those with Chinese tastes. The hotel has a vibrant design, with a retro mid-century red accent that brightens up the gloomy Edinburgh. The red King of Hearts design on the room card is also eye-catching. I asked about it when I checked out, and they even gave me one as a souvenir.
I was surprised to learn that the hotel even replaces the shower heads for guests—a first for me. The complimentary glass bottles of water each day are another thoughtful touch.

The location is great. Please note that if you are booking a room as a family, you need to tell the hotel that you want to stay in one building. The hotel is divided into two buildings, so the family is separated, which is not a good feeling.
