Not the best stay I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at Edinburgh Leith Waterfront from 16th February to 17th February, just for 1 night. After 7 hours of traveling, I arrived at the hotel at midnight, exhausted and just wanting to rest. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Additionally, the room smelled of smoke, which made my stay even more unpleasant. Upon arrival, I was given a room that was the furthest from reception. While I did not mind the distance, after a long journey I was not prepared to walk back to reception to report these issues. Despite the outside temperature being close to zero, the room window was left open, and the heating was switched off. I immediately turned on the heating, but the room remained freezing. I called reception three times, each time waiting for approximately 3 minutes only to hear a recorded message saying that the team was busy. When the heater finally started warming up, it made loud noises throughout the night, disturbing my sleep. The next morning, when I raised my concerns with the young lady at reception, she simply dismissed my complaint, stating, "Yes, we know all the heaters do that." This response was unacceptable and displayed poor customer service. I am extremely disappointed with my experience and the lack of care shown by your staff. I suggest that your staff receive proper training in customer service to ensure future guests are treated with the respect they deserve.

Particularly wanted a premier inn with its own parking, so city centres were out, also wanted easy connections into city centre.leith fitted the bill perfectly, bus stop outside car parking so, tram stop around the corner. Premier inn comfort/quality/value for money goes without saying.

This was our third visit to Edinburgh, however, as we wanted to visit the Royal Yacht we booked the premier inn as it is not far away. Didnt disapppoint. In fact it was a far more comfortable stay that our previous visit where we stayed in a "chain hoel" on Princes Street. Room was spacious with a lovely view of the lighthouse. Plenty of hot water, spacious bathroom and unlimited complimentaries. Had breakfast on a morning. Lots of choice. Also ate on one of the evenings. Our meal was really lovely. Would definately return.

Second visit to this hotel, excellent location for exploring Edinburgh with bus stop right outside. Staff friendly and welcoming, room clean and comfortable and breakfast very good, particularly appreciated the addition of plain Greek style yogurt to the menu. Only negative feedback is the introduction of parking charges for guests at the hotel.
