The room is indeed a bit old, but for me, who is visiting the UK for the first time, this kind of B&B feels much better than a chain hotel. The owner is very enthusiastic. Facilities: I booked a four-poster room upstairs, which is very aristocratic; the other is a modern double room on the first floor below. The bathroom is a bit old-fashioned, so it's no problem to use it.

The hotel is very special and classical, especially the four-poster bed, which feels very "Louis XIV" 😂😂. The furniture and decoration in the room are very nostalgic, which matches the medieval city of Edinburgh very well.
