Myself and my daughter stayed here on a last minute get away. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Very much a boutique looking hotel. Their main focus is the restaurant but this place definitely deserves top marks. The room was large clean and bed extremely comfortable. A excellent shower with Beautiful smelling shower gel and body cream. Along with a hairdryer, English tea, fruit teas, decaf coffee, milk and sugar. Great electrical points for Apnea machines and usb points for your phones. Chris our server on the morning was fabulous , he even went as far as offering us blankets to keep warm, when we sat outside. The restaurant was charming in decor and full of laughter. Outside was just a beautiful. The food was top notch. On the last day, they even looked after our case while we went sightseeing for several hours. This place is full of character and they have managed to fill it with the most amazing staff. Thank you for a fab few days.

Fabulous stay at this hotel. Cannot recommend enough the very friendly staff and beautiful decor. Our room overlooked the park and was so nice with comfy bed and boujee interior. Sat outside on first afternoon after easy check in and enjoyed lovely cocktails and alcoholic drinks. Hotel is located walking distance from Edinburgh centre through lovely parkland. Had breakfast here twice which was amazing and the decor in the restaurant is magical! If we ever come back to Edinburgh I would love to stay here again.

Would have ranked higher. Loved the room. However if your not able bodied - there is a lot of stairs to get to room.
Our room was also directly above the bar. Loud dance music on sat night and then the rest of the nights not as loud.

Room was good,clean,and good size, Breakfast was good,staff all lovely and helpful,the down side was Saturday night the bar was very busy,various groups enjoying themselves,however the persistent thump thump,thump of what was supposedly music,went on till 1 o’clock in the morning, and we were two floors up,not good enough.
