There is a parking space and access to the city was good, so it was convenient. Above all, I remember the friendly hospitality of the humorous host. If I come back to Edinburgh, I think I will find it again.

The hosts were very helpful and the property was quite comfortable. Our room was cozy (as advertised and not a surprise), the breakfast was wonderful and the dining room was lovely. The walls were a bit thin, however, and you could hear the guests in the adjoining rooms. Nonetheless, I would stay here again.

Very quaint, fit in well with the surrounding neighborhood. Good breakfasts, friendly staff, bus route to Princes St was 50 feet from the front door.
Only issue was the shower, which didn’t have much pressure on the 3rd floor and only warmed up to slightly warm (although the tap water was hot as you please). A small nit, overall it was a great place to stay for 4 nights and see the many sights of Edinburgh!

Rigtig hyggeligt sted.
Rigtig hyggeligt lille sted. Selvom det ligger i udkanten af byen, er det hurtigt at komme til centrum med de mange busforbindelser. Værten, David, var så sød og venlig, meget imødekommende. Værelset var småt, men fint. Der hang en del spindelvæv i lamperne, men ellers var rengøringen udmærket. Hotellet er af ældre dato, men det giver kun charme, synes jeg. Hvis man ønsker at bo på et moderne hotel, skal man i hvert fald bo et andet sted :-) Tak for et dejligt ophold.

Scottish hospitality at its finest.
Inkeeper David and his staff insured our stay, was exceptionally pleasant. Scottish breakfast provided was outstanding. David gave us a brief orientation on how to access local Edinburgh sites of interests and restaurants via a very convenient bus line. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Scottish hospitality at its finest!
