We didn't have any of the food but the room was comfortable and the location was good for us 😊 it's a nice part of town. 20min walk to the centre through a park which was not a problem for us. Lots of eateries around. The gym was okay but basic. The TV couldn't connect to our Airplay which was a bit disappointing. Front of house staff very friendly and helpful 😊

Fantastic place to stay although our trip was short with only one night with mercure , we had a lovely sleep and the shower was brilliant , great pressure .
Not a lot of amenities and the view of Edinburgh doesn't really exist but great rooms , comfortable beds.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, cleanliness is on point. Excellent location right next to everything just a short walk away. Highly recommend and would love to come back.

The check-in service at the front desk was quite professional. Several ladies and two men in suits were very friendly. A short fat guy in a white shirt was not very friendly. The breakfast in the restaurant was OK. There were no slippers in the room, so you had to call to get them. The hygiene was not very good. An old white lady who was doing the cleaning not only did not replenish the necessary supplies, but also put garbage in the tea bag drawer. I told the hotel when I checked out, but there was no response. Is there no place to complain about bullying Asians?

The service attitude of the front desk and the restaurant is generally good. The breakfast bread is well baked. The receptionist has a polite and professional smile. The room cleaning is not good. The quilt is very smelly. I guess it is because the quilt cover is not changed. Some cleaning staff will not take the initiative to replenish the tea and bottled water in the room. I asked an older white-skinned cleaning lady to replenish the tea bags. The tea bags she replenished were mixed with disgusting garbage.
