Blinkbonny House

We stayed with the Blinkbonny House for a total of 6 nights. The breakfast was carefully prepared per individual request and the room and private, ensuite bathroom was gorgeous. Large windows overlooked the lovely back garden and tall, detailed ceilings provided a sense of grandeur. Our room was beautifully decorated with fine wood furniture and a stunningly large mirror over the fireplace. The shower water pressure was divine and the bathroom modern and spacious. The location was perfect for a trip to Sainsbury or to grab a bus into the center of the city. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet, cute and picturesque with neat hedges and well-tended gardens. The hosts were wonderful souls with whom we instantly formed a friendship. They made our stay with the BlinkBonny House so pleasant and safe—like a home-away-from-home with very good friends. We genuinely wanted to spend time chatting and joking with them and we only wish we lived in the UK so we could see them more often. Shaun and Elaine, if you read this, thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. We look forward to when we can stay with you again.

From entering the front door to leaving the Blinkbonny hosts were excellent. Spotless well furnished bedrooms for the family & excellent breakfast will definitely book here if returning to Edinburgh. Mr E Brown

it was the first time in edingburgh and the xperience was a lot of joy shaun gave the feeling we are special. A lovely place to stay in the first place because of the friendly host owner Sean. We had a beauriful room for two nights, very lovely tastfull room and a great bathroom. We Love the breakfast. very tasty. I love the tea so much. . the owners wher very helpfull, with the advices for dinner , shopping . we hat a lot of nice chats. the area is good locacated to the towncentre of Edingburg because the nearby busses. take 10 minutes to take you there. we look forward the next time vist
