The hotel is in a great location, right on Victoria Street, with many good restaurants nearby and it's safe. The room is the same as the pictures, the family room is completely adequate and clean. You can see the castle from the room, and it's not noisy when you close the window. There is a luggage passage next to it.

The soundproofing is very poor, it's very noisy, the door is loose and makes noises when the wind blows. I booked the most expensive room with a king-size bed and city view, but the bed was the same as the ordinary room booked by my friend downstairs, but it was 100 pounds more expensive than theirs, and there was an extra balcony (which could not be opened)

Two large beds, two large and two small, very comfortable to sleep, the room window faces Edinburgh Castle, the view is nice. The ceiling light broke down and it was fixed in time, breakfast was also provided, the service was very good, overall satisfied.
