酒店就在皇家一英里大道上，位置太好了！從火車站出來走大概8分鐘就能到酒店。路上有台階，有行李箱可能要費點力氣。酒店適合親子家庭，卧室一張大床房，客廳沙發可以打開變成雙人床，住兩大兩小沒問題。房間非常乾淨裝修很新，並且安靜。雖然皇家一英里大道非常熱鬧，並且有很多賣藝表演，但是房間裏一點都聽不見。房間裏還有洗衣機，烤箱等設備，很方便。牙膏牙刷拖鞋不是標配，因為我們自帶了牙膏牙刷，所以衹跟前台要了拖鞋。早餐是零點，按需點餐，不夠可以再加。酒店出門向右走5分鐘就是愛丁堡城堡，旁邊都是商店和餐廳，非常方便。

The day before arriving, the hotel emailed me saying they were canceling one of the three rooms I'd booked. After some discussion with Ctrip, they were able to reserve all three rooms.
The three rooms were as follows:
Single Room 1: It was completely different from what I'd booked, far away and small. I requested a change the next day.
Suite 2: Everything else was fine, but the washing machine didn't work.
Suite 3: The lighting was very poor, with virtually no daylight.
The hotel itself was in a great location, making it convenient for travel. The à la carte breakfast was quite good.
Overall, it was below expectations.

The surroundings are nice and convenient. However, the service was average. We booked a king-size bed and a sofa bed, and when we arrived, we asked the hotel staff to prepare the sofa bed, which they agreed to. When we returned from our shopping trip at 10:00 PM, the sofa bed wasn't made up. We asked the front desk, and they said the staff had gone off duty and we could make it ourselves. It felt like this was a guest responsibility, which was frustrating. Complaining in the middle of the night was pointless, so we had to make the bed ourselves. There were spare pillows and a quilt in the room, but no sheets. Even after we made the king-size bed, there was a clump of hair on the bedspread. I was floored! The service at this hotel is terrible. I won't be back!
