Good for transit near airport

Very clean, arrived early, you can check in if there is a room

Overall, I felt this was a good hotel, let down by poor management decisions regarding staffing levels. It was certainly very convenient to walk only 200 or 300 m and arrive at the hotel. However, there was quite a wait to check in, as the hotel appeared to be completely full with sports teams, and the overwhelmed front desk, with only one person there, was trying to cope with many people waiting to check in. She did her best, but - there should have been more than one person on the front desk! Likewise with the restaurant, which was also overwhelmed by people waiting to have supper, with many people having to wait until 8:30 PM or 9:00 PM to eat. If I were to stay here again, and if it was a busy weekend, I would likely just eat at the airport before coming to check in (although the food court at the airport seems to close at 6 PM). Probably the review would have been more positive if I had come at a less busy time of year, as the rooms were fine, the staff were all competent and friendly, and the breakfast was good.

Booked a family room (127) my young daughter went in the bathroom we heard a bang and screams the heavy bath panel had fallen on her foot and left her with a black and blue toe and the nail falling off. Went to reception and rang the bell multiple times clearly short staffed as nobody arrived. We left the same evening and booked another local hotel

Popped in for breakfast which was delicious, but parking tried charging us £20 for not being there even an hour, lovely guy on front desk sorted it out for us no issues lovely clean place friendly approachable staff Would come again thank you

Hotel was lovely, the beds were very comfortable, the food at breakfast was great. Can’t remember the staff members name that served us at breakfast, but he greeted us, showed us to our table, served us our breakfast and even cooked it as well as the chef was off ill, it tasted great! All the staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment I walked into the premier inn, I felt welcomed and the staff were friendly and accommodating Jason was very good, he made sure I had a slot for dinner at an appropriate time as they had a large party of 20+ dining this evening Jason made sure I was well looked after, the food was good, served quickly and it was hot and tasty Thank you everyone, happy new year!

Lovely quiet and very clean room in a super easy location next to the airport. The bed was the most comfy I’ve ever slept in. I did not have supper as they were quite busy and I was tired, so I got a snack from the vending machine! I will definitely be back again!

It was very good to stay in this hotel The only tiny thing was wen we arrived to do the check in there was no one in there we call several times and we have to wait 15 minutes until someone comes but the rest of the hotel was excellent; comfort; clean; In the end we were happy with the choice

All was good but 8 pounds for the carpark is expensive and the breakfast was limited in term of choices compare to what we were used to with PremierInn. Personel wasa realy helpful but we felt at breakfast despite not being too many that staff and food were mising

We stayed at Southampton airport premier inn one night just before an early flight, and it was great for that. Very close to the airport parking and nice and quiet. No option for connected rooms (ours had an adjoining door between the two rooms but it was locked), and no option for breakfast on the go (we left at 4:30am). But it was perfectly adequate as an airport hotel and the evening meal was reasonable.

Staff definitely go the extra mile. Everywhere we went in hotel the staff were excellent. Restaurant and check in were brilliant. Room very spacious. There were notices everywhere about supply chain problems with food in restaurant but they seemed to have the majority of things available. Steaks were excellent and cooked to perfection. We are cruising from Southampton and have booked this hotel for two more times in 2025. Don't think we will be disappointed at all. Please visit and give this hard-working team a thumbs up.
