Dusseldorf Hotels with Bars

The heating was on in the room full blast when I entered — not very eco-friendly, and hard to cool down the room using the confusing room temperature controller. Furnishings felt a bit worn and out of date. For some reason, they put a second desk in the room, positioned at an awkward angle to the bed in front of the window, taking up floor space. Nothing of any interest in the surrounding area — if I didn’t have business in the area, I wouldn’t stay here. A high point was the breakfast buffet, which was very extensive, with many choices.

Very new and clean. Location is ok, can walk to train station around 800 metre~15 minutes. I love the buffet breakfast, very variety. The staff at breakfast area very so diligent. The negative thing is the reception lady never smile to me, I prefer the man at reception always say Good morning to customer!

Have already stayed several times in the Carathotel. Everything is modern and practical. Though the rooms are not luxurious, they are very functional and beds are comfortable. Everything from check-in to check-out can be done online or at the check-in tablet stations. Great location to main shopping areas (Kö) and just 10 min walk to the main train station. Bonus are the fantastic luxury Edeka supermarket in the same building, as well as access to the very funky John Reed gym just around the corner for just EUR 5 through the hotel.

The location is perfect. Lots of Japanese restaurants and cafes in surrounding area. Hotel room is nice but our room had a loud noise from the airco when it turned on. The cleaning service could done a better job.

We chose this hotel as it had the cheapest price for 1 night stay before our flight. But actually we were pleasantly surprised. The reception area was very interesting with some vending machines. It had billiards, tables for studying and nice play area for kids. The room was very clean and neat. The beds are quite comfy. The shower was small but convenient. Overall, it was a great hotel.

The most unsatisfactory thing is: there is a church school next to the hotel, a school for all grades, and the noise is all transmitted, the sound of throwing balls, screaming, the chicken coop exploded at 7:30 in the morning, and there was a choir chorus in the evening, and the window could not be opened. I reported it to the front desk, and they were confused: ”Really? I'm so sorry” Forget it, foreigners can also make trouble and play dumb.

Located in the port area of ​​Düsseldorf, it is not very close to the city. It takes about 25 minutes to reach the city by public transportation. The various services during the stay were satisfactory. There was nothing amazing, but there was no problem. The room has a separate dressing table partition, so the rest area is not large, which is a problem. The snacks in the lounge of the executive room I booked were delicious, which was a highlight. Overall, considering the price of the hotel in Germany, it is cost-effective.
