This hotel location was very convenient. Very near to all places that we wants to visit. There’s a lot of restaurants nearby around 8-10mins walk. Room was very clean not too small. They not provide any toothbrushes, comb and all that but can request. There’s a guy name call Jackson was so helpful, see I’m queueing for check out and straight away come to me and help me. Thank him
For those who look like Chinese honestly they won’t so bother and friendly I felt. This is the only thing I’m not really like in Dubai!!! Overall good hotel, convenience location, clean and value for money. Will come back to stay again if visit Dubai.

My decision to stay at Sofitel Hotel in Dubai was the best. It was located in a nice location and all the staff were kind. Above all, I will never forget the tremendous hospitality that the staffs showed my child dressed in Superman clothes.

I recently stayed at City Premier Hotel Apartments in Dubai with my family, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with comfortable pillows and beds that ensured a restful sleep. The rooms are spacious, providing plenty of room for our two kids to move around and play. Its prime location is a major plus, being close to the RTA, making it easy to navigate around the city. The service was top-notch, with staff who were always friendly and accommodating. Overall, City Premier Hotel Apartments is a fantastic choice for families looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in Dubai. Highly recommended!

The price/performance ratio is OK, after all, it is the Ritz. But the service is really not up to par. I waited in line for 20 minutes to check in, and there was only one person in 20 minutes, and there was only one waiter at the front desk. Someone knocked on the door in the middle of the night, twice. I asked to change the room the next day, but the room was not changed until I came back at night. I asked and found out that it was not changed during the handover. Not recommended

The interior decoration of the hotel is full of design, and the public areas are spacious and bright. The reception area in the lobby has a comfortable seating area for guests to relax. The swimming pools are well equipped and kept tidy. Particularly worth mentioning is the swimming pool, which is not only well-equipped but also overlooks the entire Burj Khalifa. It is one of my favorite places.

I read the reviews before and the hotel rating was not good, but we felt very good after staying here. Needless to say, the location is right inside the Burj Khalifa. The style is Armani's low-key luxury business style. From the lobby to the room, it is all metallic black. The upgraded VIP room is not small and is divided into two areas. The reception area has a separate bathroom, TV and cloakroom. The breakfast is rich and delicious. Outside the terrace of the restaurant is the fountain square at the entrance of du bai mall. The hotel can go directly to du bai mall through the VIP channel by swiping the room card, but the elevator to take when coming back is a bit hidden. After checking out, you can leave your luggage at the front desk and borrow a room card to go shopping in the mall. The front desk is happy to help.

I was so satisfied and happy with the hotel, even though the hotel is old, smelly and has number of issues in the room, problems. The air con is noisy and simply does not function , it is either too hot or cold. That was so disturbing.
But regardless that, i was going to give high score , because of the amazing team furing my check in amd during my stay.
With positive memories and experience, i came back to this hotel, but the shift that day has completely ruined my impression and experience. Reception desk team was rude and impolite. Not friendly at all. I had to move to another hotel.
Moved to a 5 * hotel in the same budget ( also in down town neighborhood) , as 3 star old rove downtown.

An Exceptional Stay at Jumeirah Emirates Towers
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, checking out on October 16, 2024, and the experience was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service, which made me feel truly welcomed.
The hotel’s luxurious ambiance, combined with the stunning skyline views of Dubai, made it a perfect choice for both business and leisure. The room was spacious, elegantly designed, and equipped with every modern comfort, ensuring a relaxing and productive stay. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel was impressive, from the cleanliness of the facilities to the thoughtful amenities provided.
What stood out the most was the exceptional service by the staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate every need. Whether it was assistance with meeting arrangements or personalized recommendations for dining and entertainment, they were always professional, courteous, and attentive.
The dining experience was equally unforgettable, with world-class cuisine offered at every restaurant. The variety and quality of food, paired with beautiful settings, made each meal an event in itself. The location of the hotel, in the heart of Dubai, is ideal for easy access to both business districts and iconic attractions.
I highly recommend Jumeirah Emirates Towers for anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable stay in Dubai. I will certainly be returning on my next visit to this incredible city!

Overall, it was a good hotel worthy of a 5-star rating. We had to move rooms due to a broken bathroom door, and my family was happy that they upgraded us. However, the location was a bit inconvenient to walk around, and the attitude of some of the front desk staff was the most stiff compared to my experience in global 5-star hotels - even 4-star hotels. There was no smile, and they were very business-like, and they didn't seem to care about people who weren't used to Arabic English pronunciation. I think the facilities are important, but the friendliness of the hotel front desk is more important, so I'm not sure if I'll use it again next time.

MMemory HallOnce they figured out that they have a Diamond VIP Trip member, was scooped up to the Elite VIP Desk where you will be warmly greeted by the Customer Relations Manager Dasha, the check in was pleasant...she gave me the keys for a nice room as expected from Sheraton...Lots of Amenities and a Free Minibar that was not consumed so no review for the drinks and exotic nuts, but they had fancy labels...Its a nice touch anyways...More Hotels should adapt this generous strategy so they secure a place in the future of Luxury Hotels...

CCarol Lam 716Service:
- Overall is good, reception manager Pei Pei demonstrated good service and fast response, but one reception guy was disappointing
- Gobin who was the night time reception, was lowering the whole level of the hotel, ashamed the whole hotel
(Incident: we saw an advertisement in the elevator showing 160 AED for 6 bottled Heineken beer in the afternoon, that night we ordered by dialing 0 in the room service, then when paying the bill, it was 252 AED, we didn't ask further for the price because we were afriad we missed some conditions in the advertisement.
The other night, we planned to order again, so we see again the advertisement in the elevator, it just stated ”Dial 0 or scan QR code to place order”, then we headed to the reception and asked if there is any hidden conditions. Gobin just questioned me if my picture is taken on the day and told me it is a recent promotion, so it's wasn't started on the day i ordered. That's totally trying to drag the problem to us, i was never thinking to get back what i over paid, and you didnt need to defend and attack me at once.
And then he asked if I have any proof that the advertisement was published on the day I order the beer, I said I didn’t take a picture on that day, then I asked him which day this promotion started, he failed to answer. Then he quibbled and said because we didn't tell over the phone that we wanted to get the promotion beer, so we couldn't get 160 AED beer. I was so pissed, but I was too focused on how I can proof the promotion has already started on the day I ordered the beer, then I went back to our room and I didn't pay much attention to his words.
After going back my room, my family told me again what Gobin said just now, it was totally humiliating and treated us as a fool. Is that I don't mention the promotion price, then I need to pay extra? It's totally nonsence. The original price was 240 AED for 6 bottles, we paid 252 AED just because you charged me on a price of single bottle 42 AED each x 6 bottles.
Because I was totally pissed off, I went back and argued with him, he knew he couldn't cheat me anymore, then he passed our case to his colleague. His colleague ****** in his service too (but i forgot to memorize his name), same as Gobin, he was trying to point the problem back to us, he said because there was no bottled beer so the staff gave us canned beer that night, so I was charged for a higher price, then I told him to see the two remaining bottles in my room and i took picture on that night as well. At last, they failed to put back the fault to us, and gave me back the money.
The whole incident was nonsense, and ruined my mood in the whole night. I had never tried to feel so pissed for a staff in the hotel before.
Room:
- Spacious, clean, sufficient facilities
- Light flashes in washroom, tolerated for two nights but finally too annoyed, so reflected this on a random surve, Pei Pei approached me the next day when we were having breakfast and sent engineer to fix the light (she offered change of room but we turned down, and she offered a complimentary dinner and a fruit platter)
Gym:
- More than enough for a hotel
Swimming Pool:
- Small and not many seats
Breakfast Buffet:
- Large variety of choice and taste good
IIpek EmilyMy husband and I had our first holiday as a family of three with our 7 month old baby at Voco Dubai The Palm Hotel. We chose this hotel as it had a private beach (we didn’t want to spend time travelling to a beach each day), was located away from the chaos of Dubai, offered a king size bed (I cosleep with my baby), and there was an option for including breakfast (again did not want to spend time searching for or travelling to a breakfast location with a baby). Compared to other surrounding hotels, it is a relatively small and new hotel. However, this only enhanced our positive experience as it added a more personal touch. The valets (sorry I didn’t catch their names!) took our car down to the car park while other members of staff took our luggage to our room. Diana at the front desk was the first team member we met inside and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious and clean. Thank you to Arun Gawam from Housekeeping! We enjoyed our coffee pods and Biscoff biscuits provided after each thorough clean. Some reviews mentioned noise but we only heard some drilling upstairs during the day and some music outside on Friday and Saturday night. Neither of these bothered us or our baby. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had plenty of choice with some of the options changing on each day so we had some variety. The welcoming, dynamic staff knew our tea and coffee orders from day one and always greeted us with smiles. We were asked daily if we wanted our eggs cooked in a certain way. This was great because our baby is just getting started on solids. Our baby girl loved seeing all the hardworking, smiley members of staff waving at her every morning. I would particularly like to thank Rojean, Rashmi and Aldrin as well as Fasha, Shiela, Juliet, Dioseth, Anu, Marion, Fhaizan, Amin, Chef Prabin, Chef James, Chef Anyu, Ariz, Sun and Puja. The private beach was a highlight of our holiday. We loved the easy and quick access to the beach with bottles of water and beach towels provided upon arrival. The cabanas were great for privacy as I had to breastfeed my baby on the beach. The WiFi was hit and miss on the beach but I guess that helped us relax more. Thank you to Bidan, Chamodi and Roni for taking care of us there! The only downside for me was the lack of power socket to plug the hairdryer in the bathroom or next to the mirror in front of the bathroom or by the mirror in front of the desk. We had to plug the hairdryer in the socket by the bed and therefore had to dry our hair on the bed, which wasn’t a major issue, just an inconvenience and a little loud right next to our baby. Overall, it was a great holiday experience thanks to each and every member of staff!
MMoayad HammoI had a wonderful experience at Premier Inn Dubai Barsha . The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. The on-site restaurant was also a highlight, offering delicious meals. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!
AAd ZeeHotel was east to get and close to Mashreq metro station. Soon as you walk in you can tell it’s a nice hotel. The check was quick, room was clean and large size. Hotel staff were very helpful and informative about breakfast and dining options. Breakfast was good value for money. Lots of options to choose from with live egg station to have what ever way you want your eggs cooked. Fried, boiled, poached, scrambled, omelette with different toppings. Only downside was there was an event on at the pool. So we couldn’t use it. They said we could enter the event but needed to pay 100 aed (£22). If not then need to go to other small pool. But was a good stay.
GGuest UserThe experience is absolutely one of the most unique for hotels. The ship and its history are worth the money. However, there are still some areas that need some improvement. 1. Cleanliness: the room and bedding are well kept but I found a couple hairs when I check in. The carpet in the rooms needs to be shampooed many years ago. And there oily face or hand marks on the window. 2. The bottled drinking water tastes weird. It’s either just refilled with tap water or the water filter at the hotel needs to be changed. 3. There is massive construction on the crossover bridge beside the pier, which makes it difficult to travel in and out of the area - you will pay big taxi bills or walk for 15 mins (ask the front desk but don’t follow google maps) to get to the closest subway station. But overall it’s still located within walking distance to Dubai creek or Al Fahidi.
AAhmedGood place, good service, everything is clean
The buffet breakfast is average,
Overall everything is good
I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Mr. Ayman at the reception for his hospitality and generosity.
MMundaneMaidenAs a 5 Star Hotel, The Canvas is a decent one for its price. It's also a part of Accor Hotels, which I really liked, as Accor hasn't disappointed me in all my stays across most of its facilities.
I booked an Executive King Room with Breakfast. I liked the interior around the hotel and inside the room. The room features an open-air bathtub which is really relaxing and it's also worth noting that they are generous with the complimentary goodies as well. 😉 I liked that I didn't have to request for anything upon arrival as the room is fully equipped, clean, and restocked properly. One thing I noticed though is that the air conditioning is not the best, I found myself sweating so bad during my sleep though I could've easily called for assistance but I'm still half asleep so I let it go.
Pool is one of the main things for me whenever I check in. I visited the pool at 8AM (they mentioned upon checking in that it's from 8AM to 7PM and I planned to eat breakfast after a dip in the pool) but I felt dismayed about three main things:
1. It's not open, not even a single soul in the rooftop cleaning the area or preparing the pool. It is blocked with potted plants, barrier posts, tables and (ironically) a sign that says it opens at 8AM. If guests have been informed that it opens at 8AM then it should be open and functional by 8AM. I waited for a good 10 minutes but no one came to open it so I left.
2. The rooftop also converts to a bar at night so you can just imagine that the place is a mess in the morning, they should have someone clean it early in the morning or at least before the pool opens but again no one was there.
3. It didn't look like in the photos. There were a lot of things around that didn't looked like it belonged to a ”rooftop pool/lounge” for me. It's (literally) A bar and A pool cramped altogether in such a small space where it doesn't even feel like it complements each other or even look relaxing in a way. There were 4-5 plastic reclining beds without a ”bed”/foam padding and it's all dusty which could have been actually enough for me to just lay down and stay for awhile to wait until it opens but since it's dusty, I didn't even bother. The rest seems to me like trash from last night's party.
Just for reference, Adagio Hotel (an Accor 4-star hotel) has Crate & Barrel for their sunbeds and towels. 🙈 Novotel (4-star hotel) and is also a part of Accor, also have a really nice rooftop pool/bar where you can relax without even the need of using the pool. It's nothing grand in there but it's already nice for me so I really do feel like this is a huge letdown for The Canvas which has a 5-star hotel rating.
As for the continental breakfast, it's great as all the staff there were really attentive and hands on deck to assist everyone. They even offered a cake and party sparklers to one of the guest which is commendable as it shows that they care about their guests. They have a live egg station, salad bar, juice corner, meats, pastry, cold cuts, and fruits which is a standard but also complete and satisfactory.
Overall, I'd still say that I've enjoyed my stay that I extended for another night. The hotel is decent and their rooms are nice. I'd come back or recommend this to my friends but personally, I would've liked it more if the rooftop pool is maintained properly. Thank you team and all the best for next time ☀️
